small vs big plants

Look if you wanna pull big yielders you need root zone to supply the girls I.e feeder roots. Wich you'll only get with veg time put in. Like hotshot said.45 min. I put 6 week veg on a 8-9 week strain and pulled 1¼ pounds one plant 8 gal soil smart pot homemade. And oodles' of TLC. Fyi I run full cyco line. 50/50 coco/perl. 1k air-cooled. I'll be runnin 9 plants 5 gal smart pots home made. Same medium same nutes same light 5x5 tent month veg time.
This may be true for one harvest, but by vegging less time you would be able to get an extra harvest over say a years time probably yielding very similar #'s. I don't think anyone method is superior to another its whatever the grower finds easiest and keeps him in his legal limit if he has one.

Hunh. What an interesting varied way to an average to little above...yield!

Here's something to consider.

How about 64, YES 64 plants in #1 Plant Warrior pots. You could use clones or even by seed, The seed I might try for a newbie like you, would be oh say,,,,Sugar Mango Ryder Auto's! They average over a zip a plant. So then that would give you 64 zips!
That's 4 Lbs!!! On your first grow!
Good Nutes that are simple to use. Like say Dyna Grow Foliage pro. Use a silica and a Kelp extract with that.

The other way would to be to do clones or seeds (Clones better in my book) (This is obviously NOT auto's) and flip them to 12/12 at 8 inch's tall.
Same Nutrients as above and the results would be about the same. Maybe a bit more...

That comes out to 1814.3 grams per a 600w light......Now for all you gram a watt goal keepers,,,,,,drum roll,,,,,,That comes out to 3.023 gpw !!!!!!!!..

I must say here that I always laughed at the guys wanting to do a gram a watt and ask how........Shit kiddies, 3 isn't even hard (SOG)! If you know what your doing!

Want to know more? Drop me a line..

Your right I shoulda clarified. My tech applies to larger plants smaller numbers. The most I'd go is 9 in a 5x5 but having a veg tent separate would make 5-6 harvests a year depending on strain and tech applied. And like you said legal limit #plants wise

@ Dr.Who that sounds like a great idea. Have you done it ? I'm gonna be starting my first grow and never considered multiple small plants.
