Shatter

I've been making bho for about 2 and a half years now, and I just got a vac purge about 5-6 months ago . I've been able to make some nice looking honeycomb but an not achieve shatter ebb though I've tried. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or pointers they would give on how they achieve shatter? Any info is appreciated

what are your temps like throughout the purge?

I try to keep it around 115-120 degrees

I get shatter with 95 - 115F 9 hours

no i leave it at full vac for like a half hour then release. i do it again and again untill i go to sleep, then ill just leave it on full vac pressure overnight on low heat.

i have a 100% success rate. with my one time that i used my vac.

Lmao percentages mean nothing in this context. But u prob know that I'm just being a dick.

I get laid 100 percent of the time, but I've only had sex once.

That is funny, we have been achieving a nice shatter consistency and are able to do so repeatedly. We have been trying to make some dry crumble wax and we just end up with darker looking shatter. We have oven temp at 84 degrees F and pull minimum 29 HG vacuum and flip every 12 hours for at least three days on shatter but do not have a good recipe for purging into a wax.....yet! Any tips would be greatly appreciated

turn it up to 125

Thanks for all the replies, just wondering everyone's opinion on where the color of your bho comes from? Does it have to be fresh material to get a golden or Amber color

This is widely excepted but some strains are just going to be darker amber, no matter what. My homeboy has his processed all the same time by the same cat and of his last 4 strains the Chem 4 cames out golden amber while everything else has that golden clear to it…. but I do agree AGE and how long you run your flower (clear, cloudy or amber trichs) are the 2 biggest factors, temp determines more of what your final product will be (shatter / wax / sap) than it does color.

How do you loose the soft texture without a vac? It has a gummy texture to it and sticky.

Pockets a little light atm so I can't just go out and buy one yet.
