A Measly $10 million? Takes about 100 times that to run for president now-a-days, that's only like 1% of the cost. What percentage is the demi-god at? Besides, being in debt makes the economy better so go max a CC you bum.

Campaign-finance law barred Romney from tapping general-election money until he was nominated by Republicans at the party's national convention late last month.

I'll bet you dolts think the polls Obama is ahead in aren't skewed either! LOL

yeah, you're right.

romney is actually ahead in the polls. how stupid was i to lend any amount of credence to dozens of independent pollsters analyzing thousands of hours worth of research?

that would be just plain stupid.

thanks clayton, never let them say a racist dipshit can't teach you anything!

that would be just plain stupid.

i underestimated how many idiots would buy into this whole "skewed polls" bullshit that the romney camp is now peddling.

pretty impressive.

who needs factual evidence and scientific methodology anyway when we have confirmation bias?

Bitches Romney is so confident he'll win, he takes out a $10 million loan. But it's a good idea to take out a credit card loan to fund a grow. Hypocrite much? How about the fact he has over 25 times the loan amount, in case fails and you didn't. :dunce:

I knew it, I KNEW it. Beenthere? All of the polls are skewed because why? they don't say what you want them to say? Perhaps the problem is that some donors won't be all that interested in backing a candidate that doesn't look like a winner.

I wonder though, if you really want it to be 6:00, do you change all the clocks in your house and then claim that all the other clocks in the country are defective?

Recall when Bain spun off Bain capital and put Romney in charge. It seems that Romney didn't like the odds (even with himself at the helm) so he cut a deal with Bain where he would be rehired and he didn't have to use any of his own money in the new venture.

Now there is nothing wrong with hedging your bets in business and he was smart to do what he did but the presidency is not a growth industry (for the president) He is not funding a grow, he is placing a bet. His odds at last check were 1 in 5. Would you put 10 mill down on those odds?

I don't google beenthere.

you are maintaining that every polling company, including Fox polls (I don't know who does thm) are willing to risk their business and reputation by "skewing" their poll numbers. You are actually saying that your (and some Republican's) "gut" feeling is more valid than poll after poll after poll.

I posted information about this - and posted the website from where all of this skewed polling nonesense originated several days ago, where were you?

You mention FOX polls, so here you go.

"The Fox News poll released today continues the trend of skewed polls that over-sample Democratic voters to produce results favorable to the president. The poll reports President Obama leading over Mitt Romney by a margin of 48 percent to 43 percent. But this is based on a sample that includes eight percent more Democrats than it does Republicans for an electorate that is made up of two percent more Republicans than Democrats."

NBC

"A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll release last week showed an Obama lead of 50 percent to 45 percent using a sample that under-sampled Republicans by 12.6 percent and over-sampled independents by 8.8 percent. Unskewed, this poll's data indicated Romney leading 51 percent to 44 percent. The fourth picture in the slide show illustrates the skewed sample used in this poll."

CNN

"The infamous CNN/ORC poll showed Obama leading by six percent, 52 percent to 46 percent, almost the margin by which he won in 2008. But the survey sample was doubly-skewed, over-sampling Democrats 17.1 percent and under-sampling independents 25.0 percent. Unskewed, the data from this poll would reveal a 53 percent to 45 percent Romney lead. The last picture in the slide show illustrates the skewed sample used in this poll."
