First time I've EVER seen someone's blurple light magically become white light.
@HydroRed @Hybridway @Big smo @Rahz @Growmau5 @robincnn @a mongo frog
I do have to give fair play to OP, he is more well versed with photoshop than you.
But that can happen from time to time.
He doesn't know about lighting.

But the light ain't good.
It's ok sort of if you don't want to spend much and can't be bothered to DIY.

Actually it probably isn't.
I don't doubt that T8 LED fixtures can easily compete with this shit.
Though T8 takes more space, which can be problematic in small tents.

@frica nailed it.
Just cause Chinese cobs can grow, doesn't mean that it's the right light. .65/gpw is...well... terrible.
My crees gave me 1.35/gpw first run.
Same here airwalker. My first run under cobs in my new room pulled just over 4 lbs with Amare and with autos in a 70 day seed to chop strain.

thats my whole point.... uts cheap and it works fine. is it better than a dyi pannel with CREE's? i dont think so and havent said so.

is it better than a 600 dollars led pannel? i dont think so and havent said so..

is 0.7 grams/w the best this pannel can do? i dont think so and havent said so..

It's not about upfront cost as much as operating cost. A 20% efficient light vs a 60% efficient light will save you 40% on cooling and creat 40% more usable photons.

I don't think anyone's bragging other then just saying its possible. Everyone is saying you can't do it. Can't means impossible. Yes you can grow great buds with cheap leds. Also grams per watt on leds is an equation not meant for led light.

That's so fuckin crazy that autos are done from seed to harvest in the time photos take JUST to flower.

Also :lol: @ rewiring the fans to 6v so they aren't as loud as a vacuum cleaner.

Another common problem with those cheap Chink leds, so noisy.

yea they are noisy, but wiring them in 6 volt works just fine.

i think you guys need to understand that this post is purely educational, i ahvent said its the best, most efficient whatever light, its cheap, and works quite well, and thats it!

i took thos pictures and created this topic to give people an idea of what this pannel could do. nothing more. i dont get why some people are automaticall sceptical, im sure i wouldve posted about a 3000 dollars american made led light everybody would thank me and say its great bla bla bla, its kind of sad, i wanted to make a review of another one of their pannel but i wont bother.

That's why I grow them. I actually met a member here who will vouch for the quality as well. Not who you think either and believe it or not he took it all with a smile.

My light is pretty quiet. Fans are fans man. Like you said you still have to customize it to make it quiet. I'm interested in cob because I could have the psu outside the grow so no more heat issue. Also think that most people get into any hobby at a beginner level. For me I thought how about I just try and grow some chronic first get a handle on that then look for ways improve the grow. As in different lighting, grow mediums, ect

I didn't want to build an array only to have some problems because I made a mistake. When I'm more comfortable and confident then I'll build an array. In the meantime I'm happy with my light.

@jrock2000 now you know what its like to take the extensive time and effort to document a full grow, post it and get met with a bunch of dick head comments.
I think the plants and bud looks great and is on par with what I would expect from that type of light. Thanks for taking the time and spreading a real world account of your experience. You are appreciated, cheers.

Most of us have made mistakes in the past.

Maybe I should show off my dust collecting Mars and praise it to heavens.
Better than Incandescent man.

Or should I start a halogen grow journal and brag about 0.07 gram per watt?

Ew I just realized it uses CXA 3070's. Yuck...
You could try asking the bin.
Maybe they just use the CXA name still but do use top bins.

Considering it's a recent addition to their catalogue I think top bin, or 2nd from top bin is very likely.
