The strain is called Quarter Pounder
That was a misleading post at the very least. But he got the Quap anyways.

Would have taken a lot less heat if he didn't call us idiots in the first post.
Yup

Yea

"125 grams, with less than 190w of power consumtion, and its easily possible to get better resuklts with a larger grow room ( mine is tiny) and LST, but i think its nice to see the result on a less than optimised plant...

i think the results will shut up more than a few idiots here saying chinese pannels are crap, i was really happy with this one"

This is the big problem.
0.65 watt per gram with hydroponics and then calling people idiots for saying it's crap.

Crap, Crap , n more crap even poo

Thanks for sharing your grow. These kind of documented grows are what motivated growers to but better quality lights.
Honestly, I almost bought a Galaxy Hydro too last year. I bought a Hydroponics Hut instead as my Burple light. Got .4 GPW. Giving it another shot now in all fairness.
Also bought an Amare & a SunCloak. The differences between my HH & those lights were tremendous. HH is mktd as. Pro-series light used by commercial growers. The company claimed it would "Exceed the growth rate of the Sun itself".
Huge lies. That's exactly why the Chinese fixtures have a bad name. Huge claims that cannot be met. The HH is not a Chinese marketed light either.
I'll tell you what I tell everyone that thinks they are happy w/ their Burple Fixture.
You will not actually know if it did/does well until you compare it to an LED standard light. That's exactly why I bought an Amare & HH & did a side by side. To see the difference so I did not believe something that was not true.
Doing another side by side now.
Thanks for sharing.
More Documented grows on all led grow lights are desperately needed to subside the lies, deceit, & false claims.
Try comparing your light to a proven fixture. Frica does a great job explaining this above.
$/Grams lost or never gained is a huge factor that many do not take into account before they state they are satisfied w/ their fixture.

Piri Piris mostly.
And some Aji Lemons.

The piri piris were used for Sambal to share with my family, everybody loved the taste.
Although they were at first pretty surprised with the strong heat.

Of course it's nothing like a Carolina Reaper or any other superhot.

Edit:
With tomatoes I have a lot more room on the balcony so I have numerous varieties of beefsteak and cherry tomatoes.

Didn't get through every post but has anyone pointed out that those lights aren't true COB lights? They're simply concentrated 3w diodes branded as COBs by straight-up lying Chinese marketers. They'll give true COBs a bad name, stop calling them COBs, you just bought into the ridiculous Chinese lies, then spread the lies. True COBs will get triple the weight of these things.

Is this what mcob truly is?

aww man i feel bad peeps r being dicks

yes i have actually :) it read 194 kwh, manufacturer says around 200-220w

i dont get why you guys seem to be sceptical, dosnt it occur that this pannel can acutally be good? i dont have any interes tin lying im just sharing my experience, i have another plant growing under it ATM i can get some pictures

i guess even with facts and actual pictures people dont seem to be ready to admit that you can get great results with cheap chinese lighting...

here is the manufacturers specs :

Size: 11.4*6.9*3.3 inch
Chip size: 45mil
Actual Wattage: 200w±5%
Certification: CE, RoHS, FCC
Input voltage: AC85~265V
Current: 600ma
Working frequency: 50 - 60 Hz
Working temperature: -4 - 122 ℉
Lifespan: 50000 hours
Material: Iron
Warranty: 2 years
Working temperature: -20°-50°
Package included: 1 LED grow light, 1 power cord, 1 stainless steel hanging kit

they are powered by 2 cob that are 64*3w LED's, you do know that a 3w led isnt driven at 3w right? its usually half the power , you're supposed to know that before making stupid comments

yeah cool, thanks for the info and for sharing

as i said earlier you got grower talent but not impressed with lights, however nice to see what they CAN do

thanks thanks thanks and good luck

also everyone, you can change the white balance of any point and shoot to make blurple look white, also photoshop

Friend's first grow was about 300 grams from 4 plants in a 60x60x140cm tent with a no name "300w" LED and 2x55w PL-L.

I had a 400w Roleadro COB fixture but it broke down after a month. Both COBs cracked. Didn't seem very bright compared to two 80w Hans Panels.

The debate and attitude is no different than say the folks that prefer Ford or Chevy

Was a great hobby grow, was an honest review ,,,,,,, Good job !!!

It's not Chevy vs ford it's Kia vs Mercedes. Unless your Jorge and you ride the back of a scooter and don't grow.

Cheaper cobs are are less efficient than hps. Making hps a better choice. Better cobs are more efficient than hps making better cobs a better choice. All lighting will grow and most lighting will perform fairly well. This was a great grow with an inferior light hands down.

Buuuuut.... "

Don't come here with this bullshit and expect positive feedback. Not sure how everyone overlooked this comment and now feels bad for the op.

yeah thanks for proving why not to buy.
Didn't prove a thing, GPW is about more than light. Genetics, Environment, Grower, Light in that order. He grew an Auto, so no control over veg time.

It simply amazes me the stock that is put into meaningless notions such as GPW or THC%

not an auto, but good point anyway.

big smo seems very angry for some reason, i think he cant accept the fact that not everybody wants to spend thousands of dollars on some gear, some of us are just small hobby growers...
also he has a lot of time to spare hating on the forums.

I check in a few times a day. That has little to do with you being an asshole.

Hey guys check out what I grew with a cheap light!
I bet the responses would have been much kinder.
But if you act like a dick your gonna get the more common responses.
