An apple tree is quite unique compared to a tomato, as well, but there cell structure works the same. I guess I still don't understand why you would think there's a difference of how the plant grows, uses nutrients and cell structure, differently.

All surface plants use water, nutrients, and sunlight the same. All use photosynthesis, and carbohydrates the same.
...and when you prune an apple tree, you get a larger yield of bigger apples.

Hmmmmmm....

Apple trees are perinatals and are pruned to promote new vegetative growth.
Apple trees only fruit on new growth.

...but I like that way you think

STOP ARGUING GUYS.
Dude. Not cool.

That post you quoted wasn't argumentative in any way; it spoke only to my own personal experience and didn't call anyone out.

I'll thank you to pay more careful attention to what's being said before trying to play traffic cop with my posts. I get to say what I want, when I want to say it. Clear enough?
