If you believe someone deserves to burn in "hell" because they don't believe in the evil crap you believe in you should take a nice long hike up a mountain and jump off. just think how much more of a critical thinking and enlightened society we could have if we didn't have religion muddying the water. if you are religious enjoy the rest of your partially enlightened blind existence.

oh and how could you ever believe in something that constantly contradicts itself and divides people.. while i'm sitting here typing in my home with my dogs and girlfriend there are people all over the world (mainly religious) getting slaughtered and raped and who knows what else....but no...... there is someone in the sky looking over them and he just "works in mysterious ways" Wake the fuck up people...

religion has been manipulated and re arranged to suit each editor masters agenda. Mans drive to elevate their position in life, singular thinking, greed and envy is what causes the problems. I think most people who look to religion do so to find peace and a little unity. I do believe in god I don't believe I have to go through Jesus to reach him though and that is what I get from religion. All though we live in a world where we're taught to regurgitate text book information, you have to read between the lines with religion and some cant get on that concept.

Religions have fed the poor and homeless for thousands and thousands of years better than any state government..

@bongtheripper420. My only problem with religion is when religious people force their religion on others. If folks would just keep their thoughts for or against religion to themselved, the world would be a better place. I don't say much to anyone until they bash me or my personal belief. If someone doesn't like a particular belief they should keep their mouth shut less their belief or lack there-of is infringed upon.

I was just venting an seeing who was like minded. I truly don't care if your religious or not Im just extremely lucky to have been born into a family that let me think for myself If everyone had that, religion would be basically non existent.

Religion or any type of "faith", or whatever you may call it, is all bullshit. It is the biggest scam, the biggest form of mind control the world has ever seen. Nature holds the truth to everything, we just have to discover it, and we do that by SCIENCE and REASONING, not by believing in imaginary figures of our imaginations, such as "GODS". Religious people have it backwards, gods or a god didn't create people or the universe, it is people who created the gods that so many people still foolishly believe in.

1 religion was the first set of controll for mankind ........using the fear and promise of hell and heaven to make ppl act in away that others wanted them too
2 the 3 main religions the GOD is the same person just different names ........if they would stop looking at what is different and look at what is the same it would end alot of this middle east crap
3 the idea of god has been proven by quantum physics.........energy can not be destroyed only converted into other forms (the human body is just a bio engine with a charge of energy bouncing around inside ) this for the longest time has been thought of the soul so we will apply this as truth

the string theory said everything on this plane as we see it vibrates at a set sound a hum .........u trees rocks everything all on the same wave length.....now apply the idea of a interlink between everything ( explains all those mystic ppl saying it over the years in history) ..........now what if that is god the life force of everything linked ..........the old saying god is everywhere would make sense

So true. As a child, my mom used to bring me and the family to church and always told me about the whole god story from the moment I could speak and understand language. Even when I was a child, I always wondered how people could believe such blatantly false, impossible, and stupid stories. They tried that brainwashing bullshit on me, but it ain't fooling me. I'll never forgive my mom or anyone else in my family who tried to contribute to the brainwashing. Actually, anyone who does this type of shit, which is a lot of people, should be put in prison for psychological child abuse. If parents didn't push religious nonsense into their kids head at a young age, the kids would never buy that bullshit. If the parents waited till their kids were 18 to tell them about their religion and their belief in god and devil and whatever else, the kids would deny that there is any truth to such bullshit stories and question their parents sanity.
