My Dad Is A Right-Wing Asshole..

Nope. My dad has been dead since 1975.

A very good friend of mine has become a commie, pinko fag type (heterosexual, but the whole label applies to hard core leftists) and has driven away his grown son as a consequence, though. The commie/pinko/fag dad is still my very good friend because I place friendship over politics but it saddens me to see his relationship with his son deteriorate over it. Like all C/P/F types my friend is utterly certain and over-bearing with his lefty beliefs and alienates many who can't bear to listen to his clap trap.
wow, talk about a bigoted homophobe.

i thought you didn;t have a hateful bone in your body? that's what you used to tell me back when you were at least pretending not to be a racist bigoted piece of shit.

did you forget that it is legal where i live and there are literally dozens if not hundreds of dispensaries pumping out as high quality a product as they can?

i could drop my prices $500 a pound and get by just fine as is.

dumbass.
It's illegal federally even where you're at, numbnuts.

Big big money isn't involved yet because of the banking laws.

If it goes legal federally you're going to be competing against large multi billion dollar corporations. You lose.

you are an idiot.

tell these 10-20 million dollar dispensaries they aren't big money. tell the people putting 3 million dollars into initial layout that their money is chump change.

i have as much competition now as i'm ever gonna have. they are not gonna allow unlimited dispensaries.

i could cut my pound prices in half and still get by just fine.

you are dumb.

Oh, 3 million dollar capital outlay.

A 20 million dollar at maturity operation.

Chump change.

Really, it is.

How much do you think coca cola, miller, frito lay, nestle or other big businesses would consider shelling out if they wanted to break into a new industry?

3 billion? Still kind of low.

Maybe 30 billion.

Bush bean company up the road here has a 30 acre greenhouse just for cabbage production to make sour kraut with.

Plenty of people still set out a hobby garden. Some people can it to prepare for possible future hardships.

Some people have found small niche markets where they grow some organic earthy crunchy hippy cabbage. They don't make a lot of money because when they start to big money sets up shop in the hippy food market.

I'm not saying you won't be able to sale your harvest. I'm saying when you can go into a store and by pre-rolled good quality marijuana cigarettes that you will have to take a fraction of what you get now or you'll just have to buy it from yourself with your wife's money.

That's besides the point.

You don't think Phillip Morris is itching to replace it's tobacco fields with weed?

You think when production is expanded nearly infinitely you'll still be able to make a decent living with your back yard and spare room?

Oh but they did. For a very long time after mass transit. Then people noticed something odd. The beer sucked.

The micro brew is a recent phenomenon that resulted from very shitty beer being massed produced from anheiser, miller and coors.

And if big guys get into the game and make shitty smoke you have a shot.

If they have half a brain and get good genetics you'd be out of business.

Your best bet would be to go to their facility and get one of those dreaded jobs.

While Andrew offers a measured and reasonable approach to dealing with assholes it does not negate the fact that they are assholes with fearful and paranoid thoughts. Sure treat them like a human being but don't validate their ignorant, misogynistic views by giving it equal time in you ear.

Being patient with people trying to justify close-minded opinions can be entertaining but treating them as equals is a mistake.
I think he's more illustrating the fact that in both cases the people are being ridiculous. The son for being certain of his correctness and the father for the exact same reason. In other words, both need to get their respective heads out of their asses.

Tobacco companies copyrighted most of the commonly used names for pot years ago, in anticipation of legalization.

I've always wondered if that were true of if it is some kind of urban legend.

The popular names for pot change all the time.

That's like trying to copyright popular race horse names.
