Pretty solid strains, all with individual attributes different from the next. I like to cross varieties based on their effects. I more less steer away from any designer BS beans and try to remain more personalized.

I've been pondering the idea of making chitin, chitosan from shrimp shells using my Lactobacillus serum. This is known as Bio demineralization DM and Bio deproteinization DP.

Well 3 days later now and the shells are pink. Fermentation is successful and lots of C02 action. The C02 keeps pushing the shells to the surface. I'm thinking they should have been dried and ground first. Next time-

Absolutely beautiful, this one is a female I found out of the F1's I have. The brother to her is in bloom now. But I'm thinking I'll cook with him and reverse this fem. She is very smelly and I love her shape. She needs to be closer to the light for tighter nodes but clearly she has a indica xmas tree shape. She's not hollow but has nice purple stripes on the stems and super vigorous. She is definitely a keeper as a mom next to the alien kush I have flowering now.

Stunning!!! I love plants with the purple leaf stems in their genes, I've had people try to tell me it's nute difficiency and I'm sure it can be a symptom in some strains, but not if the plant has a natural tendency.

Well the sweet white corn seed is not yet germinated, the sweet peas...are. lol they germinated the day after the soak.
I've come to the conclusion that 70F just isn't enough to germ a mixed seed SST. So I'm going to the bubble route to finish the germ. 20L/min of air should be more than enough. I'm also using a ceramic micro-pore airstone. 1-5mm sized bubbles!!!! BIG disolve 02.


I added 35ppm of liquid kelp and 5ppm of fulvic acid to assist in rapid germination. Also tossed a pinch (literally) of worm shit/humus from the bin. The aerobes will assist in germination too!!


I'm using a general hydroponics "Blue Stone" pump @ 3psi with ceramic micro stone.


It's 5:04am. Let's start the clock and pump.

Welcome. I appreciate the kind words and your enthusiasm towards my thread. Not to choke my chicken but I'm a "one stop shop" for knowledge, but I don't want to discredit any other solid thread on orgainics. There's alot of people on this forum, but only a few stand out. I'm not going to toss any names around but if you've found me, you'll find them too. Your smart enough to recognize an credible grower.
Whatever the case, welcome aboard and I hope you can take from thread what your seeking. I just tend to go with the flow on whatever I'm up to at the time.

True as far as peptols are concerned. Most strains have purple fan stems or turn purple later in bloom as the plant matures.
I was referring to the purple stripes going up the trunk (meristem). This is a trait of potency ( at leat all the old timer hippies say so) and I can back that. Every strain I've ever grown, if it had purple streaks and it wasn't a P deficiency, was incredibly potent. Most of all my alien stock shows this trait.

After 5 days now of fermenting, I've removed the shrimp shells from the liquid in the jar. I'm going to dry the shells in the oven until they are brittle and can be ground. Then it's back into the jar for more processing. I'll get to the aeration portion in a few days.

Lol, no fucks given-

2 lbs of shrimp, worth of dried and crushed shells yeilds approximately 1/2cup.

Back in the brew.
It immediately foamed up!!!!!!!
