Picture 048.jpg Picture 047.jpg i really like growers that overcome/invent things to acheive a good harvest & maybe we dont tackle a problem the same way but in the end it gets done i recently seen an air cooler made out of a styrofoam ice chest that uses gal milk jugs frozen & a fan blowing air in through a hole in the top & the air exited out a hole in the side they said 4 jugs lasted about 12 hrs ive been looking at small single room ac units at k-mart a little over 100 bucks i think its rated to cool about a 12x12 room i run my room at night & right now our day time temps are 95+ but my room this morning is about 78 but its gonna get hotter pheno#3 is really showing me some characteristics that i like it could very well be the future

That's sweet man, looks like a great day. Anytime on the water is a good day. We have an island on our lake in Minnesota that has goats all over it. The fishing back home is awesome, not that many stripers though.

Temps during the day get up to around 100 right now but they are manageable. Night time it seems that it's hotter... Weird

Running this time and starting a thread for it:
SLH - 5
SW - 5
Sour Diesel - 6
Shoreline - 5

I picked up that shoreline and am looking forward to it dude!!

Picture 069.jpg Picture 067.jpg yeah we fed the pig some chips minnesota is beautiful country & i hear some of those lakes have muskie & northern pike that get pretty aggressive i fish the delta a lot cause its here 15-20 min. from the house & the boats in the water so for now striper fishing in the delta will have to do i had to sell my larger boat when the economy went south but ive learned from the whole experience & clawing my way out of debt im gonna restore what has been lost & another boat with a cabin is in the works not as big or fancy as the other one but still nice enough for me when my pancraes quit shit got rough for awhile but now im working & have an insulin pump, able to work ,do a few things, ive promised myself to slow down & enjoy life a little ive came to the realization i might live long enough to retire[yeah im an old fart of 57] never visualized myself as living this long HAHA but here i am & life aint half bad i think im gonna change nutrients or my medium as as my stuff dries out some of the smell seems to be fading been thinking of going back to the 3 gal smart pots & happy frog

Picture 073.jpg Picture 072.jpg Picture 071.jpg hey ray here is some changes i have made &/or gonna make im now using 6'' rockwool blocks & now just stuffing enough coco to fill the 2 gal smart pots which isnt much im gonna change the nutes over to the floranova which has minerals & trace elements not found in the 3-part flora series ive used it in the past cost a little more but it performs also has a schedule that uses all the addatives i already have im not getting as much of that pungent smell that i got with the happy frog soil & as you already know the smell is one of the things that make this strain happen it compliments the high i trimmed some of the bud when i chopped it also dont smell as good as the untrimmed stuff the coco & nutrient combo i use seems to lack something og kush strains need my friend grows in rockwool slabs & uses the same 3-part nutes his og stuff [holy grail & skywalker] reeks more than mine ive narrowed it down to the coco he also uses r/o water & i use tap water i wont know untill i final trim what the verdict is i might just be trippin but i prefer the floranova nutes anyhow i cant wait until you get your thread kicked off here is todays pics things are going good i ran out of cal-mag so i put some epsom salt in when i fed theyre greening up so im guessing it really does work also a pic of my weed eating border collie he really likes helping me out

Picture 077.jpg just got a little lesson from the ol school of hard knocks the stuff i trimmed wet still smells like hay the stuff i left on the limb to dry on its own smells really good & has the skywalker smell to it the bud on the left dried on the limb the one on the right i trimmed wet visually there is not much difference but to me the one on the left looks more sparkly & maybe lighter green & definatly smells better i hope to regain some of the smell in the cure as 1/2 of my plants were trimmed wet

@Herk - Nice stripers! We fish for them in Lake Powell a lot. Been getting bigger the last few years as the older ones are gorging on the smaller ones. Powell is overpopulated with them and they raised the 25 fish limit to no limit about 7 - 8 yrs ago. Catching less fish the last few, but larger fish. Caught a few 6 - 9 pounders last spring.

@ray - sorry for the hijack, nice grow!....love the Skywalker! The force is with you.

Lmao I have dog that eats about anything as well, awesome dog bro. Dogs are the best.
Had my boy for about tens years now.

I use tap water as well, interested in the difference. I have run a couple strains that cannot handle the water and I have to stabilize it for a couple days before feeding.

Maybe the smell will return after it cures more (the ones you trimmed early) ?

hey ray i dont know if its the brand of coco or if its the nutes & the coco combined but its gonna take some work to make the next grow happen but i have an idea & it involves soil @ jcommerce stripers around here come in off the saltwater to spawn twice a year & some are residents as well youre allowed 2 a day 18'' or over my boss caught a 38lb.'er last year. my best 17lb.
