What more can one man do, who gets more shit from the opposite side of the aisle that just says no regardless of action? .
LOL !

If you had asked "What more can one man do to hasten the collapse of the United States?", I'd have said, "Not much."

I think at least our concern and action with ISIS is on the right track.
Why do you think the disorganized and confused response to ISIS will amount to anything positive long term - and how do you, in this situation - define 'positive' ?

Come on brother, all these situations are independent actors with their own agendas.
You think Russia is not a player in the middle east?

Even if they were all 'independent' actions, which ones do you see as beneficial in the short and/or long term to the U S and allied interests?

For how long? Have you seen projections of just the 'interest' payments on the gazillion dollar national debt in the next 5 years?

What do you think will be the dollar cost of another prolonged action in the Middle East?

What do you think will happen when the Obama majority's welfare checks begin to bounce? Peace and tranquility?

Having seen how police, border agents, and military personnel are stabbed in the back by the gov't they work for, do you anticipate a long line of people just dying to do those jobs?

9/11 - two weeks away.......last year it was Benghazi. Where might the anniversary be 'celebrated' this year? Guesses?

Well no boots on the ground, identify helpful forces using due diligence, and droning them. Positive in my book. ISIS isn't some old organization, it's rather new, splintered off other terrorist groups. What would Romney bot do better? Or any republican?

Bengazi... we are still beating that dead horse? Even the house committees found no wrong doing. Where was the outrage when we lost a diplomat in Karachi? Oh it's before Obama so not important... come on, even the countless committees can't find shit, besides they are the ones ultimately responsible for embassy protection not the president.

9/11, yes let's recall who was on watch then, also the erosion of civil liberties that followed brought to you by GOP geniuses. Militarization, check corporate welfare, since you are so concerned about "bouncing welfare checks" the military industrial complex is the larger receiver.

And country debt != to household debt. A very common and annoying mistake. The government should never "have a balanced budget" like a household. It's simply stupid from almost any economic school of thought.

China has a large issue itself with inflating gdp numbers, playing with their currency rated to keep them artificially low, building infrastructure just to add to gdp, with no real practical value.

Of course Russia has an interest in the middle east, stability isn't one of them due to their economic benefit from their oil and gas reserves. Conflicts keep prices up.

Why?

And what makes you think there are any 'helpful forces' left in the Middle East
that want to help the U S? Where might they be?

I mentioned Benghazi in regard to a planned attack on the anniversary of 9/11 - terrorists dig that kind of holiday celebration - and solicited guesses where this year's celebration will be marked. :fire: The only question, really, is will it be stateside, outside the borders, or both.

It is not the savagery with which ISIS does shit that has me scared, atrocities are committed all over the glode regularily. Its just not often they are broadcast on the nightly news. But the fact that they are growing so quickly and not even just people in the region, people are hopping on planes from all over the globe to fight WITH them. Last I checked uk was in first for nimber of jihadis followed closely by US and Australia.
I mean it is not like they have patriot missiles and shit, they are a guerilla military group (can have guerilla warfare in the desert to be clear) and can still be annihilated if it has to come to that.

I am interested in this situation as it will have an impact on all of our lives, and even though I jest too much I am serious with my inquiry.

Is there anyone hleping us in the middle east? Are there any countries standing by our side or are we alone here?

The petrol dollar dropping scares the holy shit out of me, if the dollar crashes to nothing what happens? I mean it doesn't matter what side of a political spectrum we fall on or what our beliefs in god or borders because our dollar has no borders until this happened.

These guys were chanting "Islamic State Forever" in a desperate plea for their lives....before being executed. 160 of them.

Where will our 'helpful forces' come from? Drones?

Have a look. You may as well take pea shooters to the fight. Rivals are surrendering in mass and being absorbed.

It's a tragedy no doubt, and these are terrible people, but occupying the ground will kill an ideology since when? If anything it lends credence to their movement. It's thus over simplification that got us in the mess in the first place. Believe it or not there are people in the middle east that don't align with this senseless violence. Perhaps you want to go re invade Iraq, but that will just lead to more of this for longer.

9/11. Never forget we armed, trained and gave money to Bin Ladin when felt betrayed when we turned off the faucet. We reap what we sow. Our actions now will have consequences in the future now just as they did then

Start voting and or stop voting for dumb asses that support this shit. Somehow the nanny state is only a pejorative for liberals, even though conservatives built up a larger nanny state than any liberal could have dreamed up

American flags that are sold in the army bases are all made in another country, that to me is a slap in the face. We are too proud of people to make our own flag? Is it really worth a cheap piece of shit flag from china??? I won't even buy a flag anymore because of that shit.

At the moment we have it really nice and cozy here but I feel like shits about to change and we are going to be the ones working in factories for 1 dollar a day and we are going to be the ones starving. That is why I feel like we should have cared about the rest of the people all along. Who cares if they have different color skin. But then you get into well what about those people like ISIS who want to chop off heads and shoot the innocent... well anyone with a brain would know they can't stay around for too long.

Well just make sure you are a good citizen, buy walmart, subsidize their labor force using our tax dollars in the form of food stamps and housing assistance just so you can save a buck on some poorly made non durable good, all awhile believing taxes are too high for the multinational corporation. Make sure you buy the line of death taxes and believe with hard work you too can be a multimillionaire and you are just temporarily a broke one.

Make sure to say a prayer to St. Reagan, and his trickle down economic theories

At this point I really wonder if voting on the national scale that we do even accomplishes anything, like my representatives actually have me in mind when they cast their vote.. yeah right they only care who is signing the check this week. Whats worse is there used to be atleast a thin veil but now that corporations have the same rights as people and plug as much money as they want from a dummy corp without any limits except for what they are willung to pour into their favorite politician lol.

Truth. Conservatives just try to out conservative (No true scotsman)their opponents in primaries, who is more crazy, since things are so gerrymandered. Democrats have no spine, and being a big tent party means being as center as possible. That's why I laughed when people said Obama was a liberal. Liberal my ass, Eisenhower and Nixon were more liberal than Obama

Anyone watch the show alpha house? I feel it is very representative of our clusterfuck that is the house of congress.
Suprisingly good show. I'm a fan of anything that isn't traditional media.

Congress is a joke, much of the blame rests on idiots clinging to "guns and religion", a truth Obama let slip. Honestly the people get the government they deserve and elect. I'm just always surprised big government is bad when democrats do it for social welfare but when republicans do it for big business, all is fine in the world. Just keep the idiots pacified with "Obama will take your guns", "black people on food stamps" (when white people percentage wise of the population are the largest percentage receiving welfare of any kind), and my favorite idiot voter the Jesus freaks.

Keep the education system fucked up (hey more dumb electorate!), scapegoat real problems onto minorities and the "others" all while funneling money to private interests with no bid contracts. Divide and conquer has never been so easy!

Let's be clear, TY. I haven't advocated that, or anything....lol.....I've been pointing out current affairs and questioning your replies, and quite honestly, though you type a lot of words and post often, your replies are non-responsive to the questions I directly asked you.

All you've done, and continue to do, is re-state who you believe to be at fault for the state of things. I don't agree with any of it, but I don't rebutt - I question your replies.

I don't mean this as a personal insult, amigo, but you just don't get the big picture.

You can blast everyone and anyone you want....point fingers.....call names.....try to insult people who you don't agree with...waste the time you have; spin your wheels determining blame and fault....but guess what?

Another day passes. Those that want to kill you - and plan to kill you - could care less if you're a lefty, righty, or n/a. And they're another day stronger. Are we?

I think you've done gone of the deep end homie.

For one, I don't frequent walmart let alone purchase a bag to shit in from them. I haven't shopped in a wallyworld in over 10 years. For two, I have NEVER been on foodstamps or taken a handout from our government. Third I have enough wealth to feel like I am definitely not on the bottom of the rung.

Now for a response like that you'd think I actually said even one thing that you just listed. No need to be a cunt bro.
