PLANTS stolen!!!!

I just read this entire thread and the only person who gave the right advice was Johnny Vapor. If you live in a suburb, growing a plant on your porch is just a terrible idea. Would you lay a stack of $100 bills out on your deck? Because that's what a thief sees in your plant. This isn't a tomato dude, it's worth hundreds or thousands of dollars depending on the size and strain. I live in the sticks and would never NEVER! try that. You have no option but to grow inside. Forget buying custom made dogs from unethical breeders, forget the firearms, forget the carport (another bad idea). Where you live you cannot be an outdoor grower. What happened to you really sucks but it was inevitable.

Ok I am really really pissed off today... got up yesterday morning and my car had been rifled through. nothing solen.. as there's nothing in the car. Last night I locked my car and then this morning I got up and the gate is open and the big girl is gone from my deck. this plant was going to yield probably pound of weed. My meds for arthritis and herniated disks all gone. I still have another big girl however I don't know what to do with her now. I am a woman living alone. In a subdivision. I have 2 dogs but she's 13 years old. Doesn't hear well. I feel quite violated and am worried they will come back.
The pic is of the one that is gone... Pisses me off so fucking much. I have to go get motion detectors or something. Can't report obviously. But I feel violated for sure.
That sux. Ive been throught the same thing. Makes me sick when I think about it.

I did not read all the pages but just wanted to comment. The same thing has been happening to my green house for the last 3 weeks. The first time they came they just ripped out one whole plant, the second time they broke the top colas off a bunch of my ladies and then last night I caught them in time before they could get anything but they bailed before I could catch them. What I have gained from this experience is the knowledge that it is someone close to me ripping me off, they are persistent, they are stupid and they are greedy. Just keep being proactive about your security, make it so there are opportunities on nights you pick that are the most opportune for them to show up and then snag them in a bear trap. Good luck my friend, I now the feeling. It’s a deep cut that leaves you feeling raped and stolen of your perspective on your ladies. We most own our plants to achieve the love they need to thrive and that cannot be done when someone savages them.

Oh sure if you have some property why not? But for him, surrounded by neighbors, bad idea.
Hahah he is a she. But yes it would be obvious with a carport. I have a set up in the crawl space for winter. But it does not compare to growing outside in summer. Two plants and someone had to wreck it for me. I see red if I think too much about it. Feel like they are sitting there laughing at me because they know I cannot do a thing.

Yes unfortunately I will take things inside. I am on a corner lot and traffic is fairly busy. Used to be a dead end street with bush behind me. I do have a privacy fence but obviously it's not private enough.

They will be back probably tonight. Should have got a firearm or taser. Ppl are weird nowadays. They might try to come in the house...plus having it on your balcony outside in a suburban neighborhood. U r just asking for thieves or cops...hope all is well and stay safe

Grasshopper, Maybe you could do a guerrilla grow somewhere. If you set yourself up right, you only have to go once every 2-3 weeks to water/feed. Autoflowers in big containers basically take care of themselves, use a 10 or 20 gallon and you only have to visit 2 or 3 times and it's harvest time. The Cheese auto XXL is great by Dinafem seeds ( Marijuana seeds Canada) it produces a QP easily in 80 days or so from sprout, with little maintaining to do.

I went up north this weekend and was dreaming about having land to grow on. Maybe next year for sure. We shall see.

Not s balcony. It is a large yard with a privacy fence. My parents lived here and i bought it. Safe quiet neighbourhood. Just becoming more built up and large houses with rotten rich kids. Wandering the streets.

Just be safe...and be prepared if they try it again. No one deserves to be in harm's way
Yes I am not going to do anything silly. I continue to lock it up. And I have a little motion sensor alarm that goes off if someone comes in the yard. I lock the house now and watch my back ehen tending to the plant. Totally ignore it when or if other people are in their yards.
