Yea its just like the guy who said only a low life wouldnt return money that someone dropped. Most people wouldnt do it for you so only a sucker would run up and give it back. Its the balance of the universe, You win some you lose some but it all evens out eventually.
I'll also say there is a difference between a guy dropping $700 and a guy dropping $20. On the other hand lots of people would give you a reward if you returned the $700 (its not a guarantee or a expectation); on the other hand what gorilla grower is giving you a reward for finding his spot... Lol. These points are all hypothetical and until you actually experience it you can say this or say that, call this guy a low life or that guy a saint. Its all hypothetical.

Your parents probably gave you everything you wanted too.
Nope, I am 50 years old. There were 5 of us in a 1100 sq foot home, we had to share one bathroom. While in Jr. high in the summer I would pick berries to earn money to buy the bike I wanted and some school clothes as well. In high school I worked after school in a greenhouse for money and extra credit towards graduation. I had to buy my own car and pay for the insurance and gas.

So to answer your question, no, my parents made me work for what I wanted guess that is why I am not a thief, I know it takes hard work to get what you want.

It's OK. I just had to destroy 8 as I was leaving the house, to push the divorce.

Confronting people is an art of viciousness and surprise. If you can't paint that don't come the canvas. It is not safe.

Some of you guys are living in a fantasy land. If I'm walking through the bush and I find some plants and they are ripe (they'd have to be ripe and ready or its lose lose) you can be damn sure I'm taking it, maybe not all of them, but I'm taking something.

Now I'm not saying I'd jump people's backyard fence, that's completely different. I would absolutely 100% understand if someone else did the same thing on my gorilla grow. I'd be so pissed, but I only invested $90 and maybe 2hrs work. That is why I searched or a couple weeks just to find the spot some hunter, hiker or weekend warrior will not find.

I learned a great saying back in Boy Scouts, "hope for the bet, plan for the worst."

Now bring on the above god, holyer then he'll responses.
Actually, I'm agnostic. Sorry if this disappoints you. I'm sure your $90 2 hour grow is something special (sarcasm).

If you find $X on the sidewalk, hey, it is your lucky day. If you see that $X fall out of somebody's pocket and you take it, you are a thief. You can try to rationalize it anyway you like, but you are a thief. I understand that there are many people who can live with that, that is why I lay in wait at night at my grow.

Regarding stealing somebody else's marijuana, do you not see how offensive it is to come on a grow site and boast about how stupid a person would be not to steal found marijuana? Get a clue.

Well bottom line is its done and there's nothing I can do about it. Just learn from it. The opportunity presented itself easily for the then thieves. I am just not the person Who is looking in yards to take what's valuable to someone else. I am 53 years old. A female etc. easy pickings living alone. I am sure it was kids or young adults with nothing to do on a Friday night. This plant was only one week or so into flowering. So it's not ready even yet. Next year there will be many more precautions.

Well I had the unfortunate experience of someone ripping off one of my plants 2 weeks ago. While I too am a woman of a certain age, I don't live alone. That being said, it is no less unnerving to have an intruder hop 2 fences and a greenhouse to get one of your plants. I happened to grow high CBD strains and that ripper won't be impressed. LOL. While I had a couple higher THC strains, the bulk were useless to anyone wanting to get high. I put up some signs stating that that they were high CBD strains after the theft and cut everything left. Most were ready except the particular strain they took. Ripped it right out of the pot.
I will take next season off and then reevaluate my situation. If I do it again I will be tagging my plants with these..

Rippers sometimes are just too stupid _not_ to be caught. 4 teens stole 12 potted plants from my backyard MMJ legal garden last month. In their haste they ripped off branches right and left getting them detached from the stakes. Then hand carried them 3 blocks to their own condo down the street. All I had to do was follow the leaves and potting soil trail down the street all the way to their front door. They even left 4 of the pots, tops chopped off, right outside their door to make sure I found them. Luckily I was legal and I did indeed call the cops. They got a warrant pretty fast and made the arrests. The cops even gave me what was left of the plants back. Although 9 were completely destroyed, the survivors are now ready to harvest. I get my bud. The punks got jail time for residential burglary, a felony, - especially the 18 y.o who has already broken parole violations 18 times before this incident.

I had a couple Cannatonics too. I found a metal folding knife on the other side of the fence. I am keeping it. Should I have any other encounters. I will turn it over to police. But I am willing to sacrifice my one plant for a learning experience. When I grow again, (I am legal) I will gps tag my plants.

Needless to say, I have live video, motion lights, and several driveway motion detectors now. Even rusty barbed wire newly installed on my fencing. Not seeing any more than deer, possums, raccoons and cats on the video recordings, but hell, I'm quite happy with that. The harvest is done. I'd love to grow marijuana just for setting up a sting for rippers. Very gratifying to see thieves get their due.

They come once or twice a week for mine.... Sometimes taking whole plants or cutting the best off. It will always be people you do not expect... the ones close to you because they are jealous or lost. Take it as a hard lesson in prevention. What I mean is to keep the feeling you have when you instantly realize they stole your ladies and use it on your next grow. Learn and store that hate. When the feeling hits you to hard and you cannot take the pain... put on some 1979 Marley live (No Woman No Cry) and when you have listened to it enough just remember "PMA" Positive Mental Attitude" and grow again. This is the first time I have been ripped and my second grow ever. I felt like quitting... so so bad. But we live a revolution and we do not have that option. Try harder every day and you will have stuff that blows people away. Green that makes people puff once and stare at it like it was an alien gift from above.

Grow on my friend.

This may help
