Yeah I'm waiting for mine now too. I like that it has blueberry in it. I'm throwing them outside after 2 weeks. Or maybe after they been sexed ...I want to cheat with 1 gallon buckets since there will be so many. Buy I won't. But that does mean I need more dirt

Hey do you think I would lose any autoflower traits if I tried to make some fem seeds. And would it be better to take female pollen and self pollinate or use it on another??

as far as i understand, if you self pollinate, you wont loose any traits, but the genetics get mixed again, so the outcome might be slightly different. (within the limitations of said plants genetics)

and forcing the plant to produce fem seeds wont change anything, because no genetics are mixed/introduced.

Yea that's why it's upsetting that you have to use at least gallon pots... With autos I would need to grow at least 10 just. I m the guy who won't throw anything away. I don't don't trim hard or anything lol....right now I'm trying to find out how I can get a lot of pots without spending money...I'm thinking about using the walmart tote bags lol

personally i let them self and cross at the same time , if the plants are stable then the auto trait wont be effected its a recessive trait but i think its considered a recessive dominant trait if i remember right

Ok. Would only want to do this one time. If it's little r ( do y'all remember that one lol) then it would drop off after a few generation...

the auto trait is dominant so once its auto and stabilized unless something photo is introduced they will remain auto / but the recessive part is during the breeding in of the auto trait its easier to lose the auto trait by breeding it then it is to gain a auto trait if that makes any sense

No it make sense. I wouldn't want to do any breeding yet. I just want to be able to have seeds for the long run. If I did do breeding it would be with photos that I would turn fem

if you cross a auto and photo you get some pheno's that grow like a auto :D but still need the lights to swap , thats what i love about auto's is they grow so fast you have to look twice at em, sometimes its just hard to believe

Yeah that's why I was liking the idea of auto blue dream and durban .... I think are great strains ever tho I never had durban. If I had good result from them I would look into doing only autos.

I dont think anyone has worked an inbred line of ruderalis long enough and in great enough numbers to say conclusively what would happen if you made these crosses or kept going its kind of like the intersex or "hermi" gene its always there and itll almost always pop up here and there down the line like in pigeon breeding when you get reversion to wild type (normal pigeon color) even in pure white or fancy lines that stretch back over 9 generations genetics is a really complex subject.

It just something you can't really shake...but that's when you just make sure to have the best genetics and environment and there shouldn't be as many worries

alrighty update time,
first pic is a group shot of all the A1 girls that survived the cut
the next 3 are individual A1 girls that as you can see are very densely vegetated and have internodes just stacked on top of each other.
next are 4 B3 girls out of 12 that made the grade
and individual shots of them, a little bit further spaced and shape wise not very uniform this is because i dont select for shape just what works :)
and last pic is of some B1 and an A1 male(s) ive got like 8 stashed away so far

Transplanted 4 A1, 10 B3, 4 B1 into 2 gallons and still have about 12 B1 females to transplant and 2 B3 females that fell just short of my criteria for vegetative excellence so ill be gifting those to a local grower(noob) to grow out and do a log on them for me to gauge the ease of growing these bad boys so far.
