this is my selection for increasing both size and yield of my A line an indica dominant (veg structure) line that produces purplish/green-pink buds that ooze resin and reek of whatever pheno they are (scent is still variable) and i cant be certain how she smells till shes done. ill post updates every friday from now until chop.

these girls have been kept on 18 hour light half metal halide and half sun and grown in roots organic 707 (recycled) with 1/4 strength feedings of maxibloom twice in the past two weeks, pests have been an issue and are very irritating, tried to avoid spraying as long as possible to watch for any particularly pest resistant girls but they all did fairly well and with another project in and out of the room iwant to give everyone an equal chance.

i have some weed sex going on at the moment also o_O buds are barely thumbnail size and seeded like crazy ....... preflowers that were pollinated are monkey nutz and look like they are 2 weeks away from being done .......... i went ahead and pulled my male ...... kinda had one of those moments when you realized you might of F'd up >.<

you think maybe i should of let the buds get bigger first then pollinated or will they continue to grow even though they have already been pollinated :? ive never done it this early so its kinda unsettling now to think about it .....

it really depends on how long they flower but if your taking these out to 11 weeks they may gain some size, bad news is yeah theyll be dinky all the way till the end 95% of the time but youll have some very healthy seeds for your next generation :)

Been hard at work on Pinkie Pie these past few months, lifes been busy so i havent been on top of my log but I will keep it updated from now on.
I grew out about 3 of each of 8 popular strains and made crosses of my Aline to each one of them and will be growing out progeny from my studs pretty soon for development of new lines.
Pinkie Pie A line, B line and G2B line are now at the F5 and I have just pollinated all F5 females of my PPBC2, A1, A3, B1, B3 with pollen from A select F5 B line male So F6 seeds will be drying and curing in about a months time, but in the mean time I plan to run at least 100 more females from my F5 population before preceding as I feel very close to my goal and seem to be producing very predictable and uniform results now.
ive attached a pic of my closet and females (1 gallon pots)
some shots of a B line female with spider mites
and a younger B line for comparison shell be ready in about 40 days or so014 (3).jpg

few shots of a B line male before and after I got pollen off of him and bagged it in an ordinary clear ziptop bag for storage in the fridge whenever I need to use it. my male box is just 2 cfl's in a small box lined with panda film..... pretty janky hahaha

a few shots of an A-3 plant at around day 55 in a 1 gallon pot keep in mind I have spider mites and its dead winter with only the heat of the lamp to keep these guys warm so they are growing a bit slower than im used to, this could also be attributed to the effects of inbreeding depression seeing as I am now on the F5 population of full sib crossing.

interestingly my A-3 line began pproducing females with early balls that wither and fall off before spreading pollen and the A3 male I used to pollinate one of my B line females I was using in a reciporical cross between lines suddenly dropped all its balls and became a female after I put him in the male box ( possibly light, cold, dehydration stress) either way I immedietly scrapped him and will not be using the seed made from that cross in any of my released gear but will hold on to it for future testing with hermis :)

A3 line is very wide branching, hermi prone, green- light purps, no noted pink pistils, sweet-skunky, golfball type bud, very resinous, the original plant selected from my A1 line for ultra resinous green buds however plant was tiny 1 generation after a full sib cross to a chosen a line male and reliably produces large stout bushy plants.

heres that same B line female, shes been pollinated by a pure Bline male so F6 will be here soon.
buds are light purple at this stage but will darken as she ages and seem to get greenish tinges inbetween the purple later into flowering (if its not too cold)
B line has pink pistils, dark purple buds, menthol-berry-cheese/ sharp citrus purps aroma, single cola dominance with 3-4 lowest branch set coming up to form nice buds and all below becoming waste.
highly uniform plants, some variation from generation to generation attributed to environmental stressors as pinkie is indoor/outdoor.

004.JPG 005.JPG 015.JPG this is a B1 line female that exhibits B3 line phenotype and was pollinated by both a male A3 line that was later found to go full female under enough stress and a B1 line male, seeds will not be used in any released lines if at all.
smell was MBC
menthol, berry, cheese very typical of B3 line
