This is the second best in my opinion, lots of colored pistils but they seem to be much more purple than the other blood red pheno, very exciting because ive always figured the pistils would range in color just as some of my buds come out a reddish maroon while others are a deep cool bluish purple.

I hope to segregate these phenos and develop them further in future generations.

this plant is the taller of the 2 and frosty with purple pistils a very nice plant to establish a line from.

some singles of the girls just to show progress
f1-pretty consistent vegetative growth, very vigorous, and truly a pleasure to grow
stressors:Powdery mildew, fungus gnats, spider mites
Wait you tried to give these the aforementioned blights?

that, my friend is a 45 gallon smart pot

I didnt "try" per se' but once they were afflicted rather than treat them ( very simple to treat PM, mites and gnats) I allowed them to stick around and weed out the plants that couldnt grow as well under the harsh conditions.

Thanks man, a few photo strains have them outdoors and even fewer have the trait "fixed" and to my knowledge im the first and only one attempting to fix this trait into a line of autos

these ugly ass mofos are done, seeds are dark, tiger striped and viable so I will be pulling them today to collect and dry my F2 outcross (select) pink pistil plants for later.

May 9 threw down

40 TD X PPF4-A1
40 A1-1 X B1-1 F6
hundred(s) PURE B1-2 F6
30 PURE A1 F5

May 13th
they broke soil

a week later May 20th I took these pics

Sidenote: the reason I popped so many F6 PURE B line is because the plant I collected the seed from was pretty much ideal and the best out of a run but I was lazy and didnt put a desiccant bag to absorb the excess moisture and got green mold (first time ever) in that 1 really important bag so I just soaked every one I had and threw them all in soil, not expecting more than 10 or 20 to crack since the ones i squeeze tested burst hella fast and into clouds of green spores! anyway to my surprise I got a germ rate closer to like 40% or so which isnt bad considering how much mold was present.

I suppose if you are making a strain as stable as possible then weeding out the weak ones is quite important. I'm pretty sure if you stabilize the pink gene then you will be very rich in short order. That is an extremely desirable trait for certain. That is a massive fucking pot for indoors btw

Yeah, cant be fuckin around with no weenie ass plants lol

im not really motivated by money all that much, I already have everything I need... and nothing that I dont ;) I just hope lots of people like my strain and grow it out that would be a dream come true for me.

hahaha had to! it was a 14 week sativa and I wanted to be sure she had plenty of room to stretch.

Was it a cross of Dr. Grinspoon or something? Damn that is a long time to flower. I for one would be honored to grow anything you make. As soon as I start crossing the shiatsu kush with the Krakatoa I'll return the favor. Believe that brother

Madd Krush by Genetics Gone Madd

Genetics Gone Madd, USA

Sativa-Dominant

Genetics: Unknown sativa, possibly Thai

Genetics Gone Madd is the breeder becoming more and more well known for his amazing looking indica-dominant plant, Redd Cross, that has bright pink flowers and is almost impossibly beautiful. Though Madd Krush might suffer from always being Janet Jackson to Redd Cross’s Michael, they’re still an amazing family and this plant even solo is a fantastic one to grow. The seeds from which this strain began were of an unknown sativa strain, possibly Thai, from Dan Christiansen, and the plant once grown was then stabilized by Genetics Gone Madd.

Interestingly enough, Madd Krush also shows blood red preflowers, much like its brother strain, although this coloring is much darker than the hues shown on Redd Cross. This seems to be a photogenic effect as this red is only expressed where the flowers are exposed to direct sunlight. Another trait shared with Redd Cross is the sturdiness of the plant; both the stalk and branches of this plant seem specifically designed to rival Arnie in bearing weights, meaning that when harvest time comes around you’ll practically have to wrestle the branches to the ground to wrench the buds from them. At least you’ll save money on stakes! Finishing fully in 14 weeks, this is a true sativa and does require some patience to let it reach its full maturity. This patience will be well rewarded, however, with the dank, dank buds that you’ll get.

The dried buds of Madd Krush smell like Froot Loops with a taste to match, which is brilliant for anyone that misses that taste from childhood but doesn’t like to eat a bowl of sugar for breakfast every morning. The effect is a very cerebral one with a long duration, lasting anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. For all this time you’ll enjoy a very active focus, which is the complete opposite of the effect of a bowl of Froot Loops, as you’ll already know.

boys are showing balls today so ill be making the rounds destroying weak/slow to crack seedlings and all males that show sex up until the latest 10% then ill select for size/vigor/color and keep 1 or 2 from each group for breeding to my stellar females.

finally got some supplies today, was inspired by hot diggity sog to try breeding in these totes instead of progressively larger pot sizes so that I can run higher numbers and really nail down my qualitative traits and move on to the next stage of development.
9 bucks each at costco, 2 filled with roots organic 707 and 1 filled with FFOF
