the theme of dazed and confused is accurate, the grade 11 and 12's give the 7, 8's, and 9's and even 10's a hard time and the youngins think they couldn't care less about them, but as they get older they realize they wouldn't of let them hang out with them, hook them up with weed, booze, and pick up for them when ppl in their own class gave them shit if they actually didn't care about them. they took me under their wing (their words) and taught me how to keep money in my pocket. now i graduated and most of them are gone working somewhere and one of my old friends even got a kid now, but i still hang out with a few of them
and a lot of the characters from the movie remind me of ppl what was in high school when i was growin up, miss the old days, depresses me really badly. i realize now that they had it a lot worst then me in high school from the older crowd which is the young crowd to me now lol, and the amount of shit we got was really no big deal, they were only jokin around in all honesty, when i finally move to the city im golden, gonna have ppl everywhere watchin my back and gonna have sick hookups
