wtf are you talking about? please show me your sources because i cant find it in the statute anywhere. your soooo wrong it must be opposite day or something.
WTF I am talking about RZZA is section 333.26424 sub-section k of the Michigan medical Marijuana Act. Copied from the MDCH's website as follows:

(k) Any registered qualifying patient or registered primary caregiver who sells marihuana to someone who is not allowed to use marihuana for medical purposes under this act shall have his or her registry identification card revoked and is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 2 years or a fine of not more than $2,000.00, or both, in addition to any other penalties for the distribution of marihuana.

According to how I read this as long as you sell to someone who is allowed to use marijuana for medical purposes you are alright.

I am not telling anyone to run out and do this. I am just stating MY interpretation of the law. Maybe a little bit more research next time Rzza before being soo negative, huh?

As far as the info about Rhode Island I found it on the MMMA website in a forum. After doing some looking of my own it seems that the bill amending RI's law is in the legislative process right now and hasn't been passed(sorry for not verifying this first!) Their new law does make for good reading and hope Michigan can adopt some of these changes in the future. Check it out at http://www.rilin.state.ri.us/BillText10/HouseText10/H7275.pdf

ok so forget the rhode island shit and lets talk about michigan. you just posted this excerpt.

ok so where does it say i (as a caregiver and/or patient) cannot sell meds to another caregiver and/or patient?

so heres from your op....

"The law is very gray about patient to patient transfers. It specifically says a caregiver can't sell to a patient that is not registered to him through the state."

so show me wtf you are talking about. please.

I'm not arguing that you can't transfer between patients/caregivers. I just meant that it isn't spelled out in the law and therefore is open to interpretation.

(b) A primary caregiver who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for assisting a qualifying patient to whom he or she is connected through the department's registration process with the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the primary caregiver possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed:

I interpret this as meaning that a caregiver can't sell to a patient that is not his. I agree that nowhere it says that a caregiver can't sell to another caregiver.

I support the patient to patient and caregiver to caregiver transfer and think the way the law is currently written it supports it too.

Once again I am not trying to argue against these ideas but for them. I have read many of your posts Rzza and know you know yous sh*t I am just stating the way I interpret the law.

oh okay.... well I'm all set for now anyway. I made a trip down to the Ann Arbor Liberty Clinic yesterday and got enough bud to last me a while. They were ok about me only have the doctors recommendation.

The stuff they had was pretty good too. one strain has a lite cheese smell to it.

It's some pretty good herb in my opinion, but I'm not a connoisseur.....yet.

The one strain that smells a little like cheese does not look that good in the bag but the smell, taste, and high are great.

I made a pit-stop at the liberty clinic earlier today. I picked up some Silver Haze, and some Mango Kush (both $20.00 per gram). They were out of the Maui Waui. I'll let you know how these two are ........... and they better be pretty damm good for $20.00 per g!!:blsmoke:

It's funny how us growers look at seeds in a bag of weed. Most people would be pissed if they paid $500.00 for a zip and found a seed in it! lol

Update on the smoke: I took the Silver Haze for a little test run earlier. It is certainly a big step up from the C99 shit I got there a few weeks back. A pretty balanced buzz between a Sativa high, and an Indica stone. It didn't last quite as long as I was hoping, but all in all a pretty nice smoke.
