Hey, so I know you've closed the topic. But I've been thinking about hydro stores. They could be the modern day whore house so to speak and instead of getting crabs we are picking up these pest in our soil or other products. Just a scary though I've been having I guess. But could make for some fun talk:bigjoint:

I've seen nasty shit crawl out of soil bags for sure... Particularly root aphids and fungus gnats. There's one brand that I won't use any of their products because of how infested their soil is...

ok guys...i am going to chop them today. They still have the dark mites, but that is all I see. Will the mites die as the plant dries, or will they keep eating my girls? How should I go about drying them?

You are right.. I didn't bring that up because it's a whole new topic. I didn't add my soil mixtures and I do put together my own mix. I think all bag soils are infested. Truth being said I go to my local landfill and get my compost. Why ? Because they have a cooker they use after they grind everything up from their green waste collection that cooks at 120degs. Booyah ! You got one of my secrets ! haven't shared it yet .was saving it for a future thread on my soil mix. Great question 757 ! As for closing the thread; I wrote into admin asking to place this as a sticky in the outdoor with no response. Those of you that believe in my research will know how to find it along with people doing searches. So we continue on and I'll just use it as my grow for this year.

This is true. The store I frequent says they have a paid pest program spray once a week. A grower can contaminate many different places. Maybe even clinics. SARS ! Can you see me shopping in a Hazmat suite ?:bigjoint:
