Well first of all I hope I haven't given Mo a heart attack writting that. I have no link to prove it just experience . I laid awake until late trying to remember where I read it or if it was a theory my boy and I had discussed. I get pretty medicated doing my study sometimes. look at it like this : you have russet crawling everywhere. they are so small that it take a 40 scope to see them. all they do is eat, shit and breed then lay eggs. the seed pods are open as they ripen. the mites have laid eggs in the open pod of the seed . the seed closes as it ripens. the eggs can't get out so they stay in the seed until it opens after a nice nap over the winter. I believe it's more than just possible. I didn't just dream this ,I read it some place. Ic mag, thc farmer ,John McPartland has done a lot of studies and I think i read it in one of his books .

dip them in the gnarly when they are little( avid, forbid, flora mite) spray a couple times with them as well. I have seen the most brutal outbreaks on the planet. South county has had them bad for 2 years now going on 3. I have seen whole crops take a shit and it can get out of hand easily. Its getting to the point where people won't even trade clones in my neck of the woods. Always good to hit them with the brutal stuff real real real early and just prevent with clean stuff the rest of the way. Ive also noticed if you start to have a problem with them keeping them pumped up with food helps tremendous.
That was my plan pretty much to the tee . now I discovered the bioworks benificals . I'm no salesman for bioworks. I want to get a nice fat juice harvest. the bioworks is compatible with abamectin (avid) . so I'm going with the bens and lots of DE. If that don't work in veg. (I'll be out with my scope EVERY MORNING) then I'll be forced to use the forbid rotation as you mentioned.

yeah that's my plan. I'm going with DE until I'm forced to use something else...

="fumble, post: 11442550, member: 348270"]I got my scope today...gotta get batteries now lol. I am about reafy to rip them out and bomb evwrything. I sprayed the clones with some neem, protek, dish soap and rosemary, tea tree, and lemon-eucalyptus oils. sigh
Fumble I think you're past the point where you can spray to get rid of them. You have to be able to dunk the whole plant several times. If you can get a atomist and use water/bleach to clean your room or tent before you start again.[/QUOTE]
I totally agree with you on the girls in the tent but still trying to save the clones. They are too large to dip, but I totally saturated them with my spray. I will most likely be pulling everything in the tent next week.

I can kill them in the seedlings. A good wetting agent and AzoMax seems to keep them under control indoors. I am trying to get the outdoor predators to eat them. I try to avoid using pesticides of any type outside. Strongly sprayed water does a great job and the bugs do the remainder.

I had a Jilly Bean seedling that had its second set of leaves when it was balled up into a web of mites. I took it outside and sprayed it with neem every day. It ended up being the black Jilly Bean mom for Jurple (Purple Jilly Bean):

Cheers,

Great Job Mo ! I've done some breeding of seeds but nothing like you do. you are correct about the dunk and killing the bugs. It's a must nowadays with all the pest problems. I like the Purple Jilly Bean. Beautiful plant Sir !

I hear ya man the only thing I can say is... If you decide you need to use the gnarly stuff down the road it's that many more days the plant has it in it's system vs doing it early and giving it clean for months. There is a really good omri organic product that a bunch of close buddy's stand by ( nuke em) check that product out .

I'll be scoping early, as soon as I see mites on a plant that has been dusted with DE. I'll use the harder stuff....
