Ive had similar symptoms and it can be the fact that you have just potted your plants with peat based compost and freshly watered. I think you need to allow oxygen into the roots and yes, as you say get some air flow around the seedlings. The fact that you have mixed perlite into the soil will help to ensure proper drainage. Your soil IS a bit hot for seedlings and I would resist feeding anything at all to the plants for at least a couple of weeks--in one of your pics of the compost If I remember it says 15-10-15, this is a bit nute rich for seedlings. But the good news is ( just a suggestion), let compost dry out a bit, water carefully, and within a week or so you will see a recovery. if not then try and add a bit more perlite into the soil mix, as the seedlings grow the bigger plants will make better use of the available nutrients in the soil. But for now there is just too much nutes in the soil and too little oxygen. anyway well done so far , things look promising, if its any consolation this part of the grow ( germination and seedling ) is the part fraught with the most potential problems.

Thanks for the info!!! I was a bit worried. Im trying to make sure i hit them with decent air flow... Maybe i shouldnt yell at my gf so much for opening the door to them and always looking at things.

My temps are usually around 74 degrees at night and usually around 80-86 during the day as i wanted to simulate late spring early summer the entire time they are in there. im going to feel around on the soil to see just how warm it is or isnt.

I just wish i could find some of their "ideal temps" somewhere so id have a chart to go by. i am going to try to resist feeing them nutes but i do want them to get that b vitamin that helps them do what they need to do and grow.. also the replacement light should be better for them and the soil

I think you're right because I tried to "pack down" a tiny bit of dirt that was on #1 and #2 in the blue SQUARE pots and from now on i will not do that.

Thanks again for your feedback, you seem to be the only person who wants to reply to my thread lol >_<

Gonna upload the pics from today after i gave them a good watering..

I watered all EXCEPT the one in the big pot as i dont wanna lift that pot and i felt like the soil was still rather moist and only "fully dry" on the top.

My new T5 should arrive tomorrow But i have to go to work so Ill be setting up the new light soon. Should see a huge improvement with the new light or if i decide to run both lights at the same time.

Anywho pics !!!!IMG_3059.jpgIMG_3075.jpgIMG_3074.jpgIMG_3073.jpgIMG_3072.jpgIMG_3071.jpgIMG_3070.jpgIMG_3069.jpgIMG_3068.jpgIMG_3067.jpgIMG_3066.jpgIMG_3065.jpgIMG_3064.jpgIMG_3063.jpgIMG_3062.jpgIMG_3061.jpgIMG_3060.jpgIMG_3076.jpg

You're temps are ok but I reckon 78--83 when lights are on and lights off temps should be around 10 degrees less than the lights on temps. You only need to worry really when they drift into the high 80s or above

So the new light arrived this am...

I was awaken to a phone call on my tv... (The gf was like "whats that") I wasnt going to answer it but then i was like oh shit its probably a call about my package.

Sooo i got my light.

A few yellings later (sorry kitty) and the light is installed! pics below.

oh yeah, i fixed the cameras settings so no more duplicate picture flip book nonsense. Enjoy and comment.

Oh and one last thing. MY temps are starting to stabilize as it doesnt seem like it'll get to the 90's in there via the thermostat. I usually feel around in there and it never honestly feels like it's 90 degrees. Ive put my big personal fan in there with the plants and may add another fan for a more direct line of air.

Temps seem to STAY about 74.5 at nighttime and hovering 80-84.9 area most the day. wish i could manually reset my max temps to make readings easier.

Edit: Indoor temp is the temp in my actual bed room outdoor temp is the temp of the plants soil in the closet and i SWEAR the thing is off by like 10 degrees for out door as i do NOT believe it is 84-85 in there and i know for a fact it never reached 93 degrees in there bc it would be painfully hot in there and would have to be about the same temp in my ROOM as my room's temp determines the base temp for the closet.

The new light creates less heat so if i feel like its too warm in there, ill turn off the HPS and just leave on the T5.

I have read good reviews on hydrofarm.com about the T5 so Im hoping in about 72 hours ill notice a significant improvement in everything. most the plants seem happy / fine, however i am a perfectionist sometimes more then others so i want them to be perfect. >_> lol the princess seems to be happy though so if the bag seeds go down, as long as princess blue florishes ill feel a "money and time well spent" sorta thing.

Next seed to be popped in this thread once we get some good signs of life will be Short rider, oh and short rider is on sale today bro's go get your 20% off via NIRVANA without a code (could be wrong about the code but theyre advertising 20% off and something else via email)

So i decided to run my own test and i made a cut to one of the yellowing leaves seeing as they probably arent auto flowers i can veg the one or two plants i remove yellow from for longer if they need to catch up but the perfectionist in me just couldnt stand seeing the plant with that much yellow on it even if it was only a tiny bit.

Apparently the yellowing of the leaves is a PH issue.

Apparently the ph in my water is too high and is starting to get to my plants. I bought ph DOWN stuff but it requires me to water my plants sooo i selected two plants to test it on and if it works out well i will water it into the rest when they are due for more water.

As always i use MUCH less then the recommended amount as i have no clue how it will or wont hurt my plants..

Ill post pics after my gf goes to work.

Hope this works how i want.

The auto flower is doing pretty well. I guess the bag seeds are my crash test dumbies lol.

After a few things went bad with the moon flower (its too tall and forced me to move some stuff around).

I feel like im done for the day. i had to walk to and from the lame ass post office (its in a very BAD SPOT TO GET TO WITH A CAR) and i had to finally obtain my booster / vitamins for the plants.

I misted them with it early in the day and tried to make sure i dont over do it nor over water them.

I will include a VERY SMALL portion of the b-52 vitamin in their water to hopefully help them recover better.'

As usual i will ALWAYS use LESS... WAY LESS then whats recommended until i know for 100% certainty what my plants can and cannot handle.

Blue Mystic is doing A++ at the moment.

All other plants are rated B until i see improvements in stuff i dont like (clawing / curling / yellowing due to nute and ph issues which i am hoping to resolve.)

If anyone knows where a CHEAP and FAST working PH DOWN agent is feel free to comment.

Ive included some pics the rest will come tomorrow after work or thrusday when i sit around doing not much with my final breath of fresh air till the super busy work schedule hits this weekend.

I wont neglect the plants, mainly bc they are on my alarm... they go to sleep when i should, and they wake up when i typically would be getting ready for school.

So far i HATE where i live, and I cant wait till i OWN a house. Least then ill be able to make WALL mods without thinking " will the owner be mad at me for this " and of course i absolutely LOATHE USPS and UPS even more now because of how difficult it has been to obtain my shit.

Fedex seems to be the only reliable one who will go out of their way to make sure they do their job properly THE FIRST TIME.

Hopefully my Blue Mystic yield will make all of this WORTH IT.

Indeed i try to keep it as simple as possible. i mean they are just plants after all lol.

Always trying to figure out better ways to get more light. Some of the bagseed have flimsy genetics and or it may be a BAD thing for me to grow in party cups lol.

I've noticed the one with better genetics seems to do better and i also noticed it seems like my party cups pale when it comes to others done in other pots / mediums.

Managed to get some temps down and finally this thing reads properly.

MY gf has been screwing with my lighting but i do NOT believe they have dropped under 18/6 period.

They have responded seemingly well to the B-52.

I've repotted one of the party cups as i saw roots coming from the holes, once i ripped the cup down the middle (easy mode repot) there was so many roots on the side its like oh this plant really wanted to get huge but it didnt have the chance being in such a tiny pot. its in a bigger pot now so i guess we'll see how it does.

Id like to find some decent instructions on how LONG they should veg before being placed in flower mode.

Princess looks fine for the most part. I cant tell if the white on her leave is from the perlight, D-earth treatment to remove these GOD DAMN GNATS (before i figured out apple cider vinegar will get them to die in this cup!) or whatever but she seems to be fine.

Im watering only when they are SUPER DRY and i cant feel ANY moisture till at least 3 layers down.

Hopefully i dont overwater or kill them.

Tips = Comments appreciated. People please feel free to post anything you want, esp if its productive. I do believe we're here to have a good time and enjoy what we're doing.

Ty :)

So i had to lower it again as the plants are becoming too tall and are starting to run into the HPS light bulb (which is rather hot)
So i lowered the boxes and made sure to pay good attention to which light they were turning toward if they turned.

Anywho pics incoming! ENJOY

So all the party cups are gone. I've used damn near all the pots i bought and i didnt think id do that this early.

I am considering repotting the two in the tiny blue squares but im not sure. i know at least minion 1 will need to be removed from the tiny blue square sooner or later as i got a taste of roots in princesses dirt this am and i was like aww fuck.

Plants measure in at about '9 Inches and thats NOT the oldest plant. They seem to gain about an half an inch every 2 days in stem or nodes however u call it. (what i mean is each 2 days theres another layer thats a new branch completely formed.)

I am still feeding them the B-52 water and they seem ok.

Most of the minion issues are seemingly to stop and the plants are happier.IMG_3133.jpgIMG_3158.jpgIMG_3159.jpgIMG_3134.jpgIMG_3156.jpgIMG_3157.jpgIMG_3161.jpgIMG_3160.jpg

Seeing as i didn't want to be doing much plant work on my bday (saturday) i figured id get to work now and lower the plants, mainly bc i noticed one has one really large second limb and the side with the shitty light hitting it the most has a noticeably smaller branch on the opposite side this caused me to want more of both lights to hit the plant evenly.

I think that's it for me going to call it an evening and find some grub...
