Yeah worst april for a long time and it's the most important month too. Lost the cut though which sucks.
Wonder what the genes of the g13 are, one of those fabled strains.

The whole dutch scene of ak's,nl's,skunks etc. are over which is a good thing, hopefully people start getting real strains with proper lineage linking back to the original source. shit that's bodhi! fark those are some awesome sativas man! that real tall purple one is crazy and I really like that one with the full on red stems, that last one has some trippy leaves too. Shot for that link haha.

Yeah or whenever the weather is prime, on bad years it takes till mid november for the weather to be good but on other it can be early october. You want 100 watts of fluro for a good start and structure, what about one of those 150w clf lights from switched on?.
Bangi haze looks like it'll grow anywhere in NZ ha just been reading the thread about it, it's only in regular but I reckon regular has better chances of a golden pheno.

Same, I wanna use neem granules too so I don't have any vine hopper issues. I think next season will be better for sure.
Bangi haze is nepalese x congolese and it reckons it can handle any weather without mildew and other problems, might be the go to strain for our climate. Yeah definitely use stealth. Maybe only get 1 Taskenti? because they'll most likely turn out the same.
Holy shit Cannabiogen has Panama DC in stock! that's Panama x Deep Chunk, I'd get that while you have the chance man. Cannabiogen's Panama is cheaper by the way. I'm so keen for that Panama dc but can't order shit to my house anymore.
Important, especially for those sativas! Yea I couldn't find out what the genes of g13 were It doesn't really say. Yea kinda good that that side of strains is basically over, unless you get a good original cut of AK or something coz that shit kicks ass  Aw are those actually bodhi!? Therye amazing huge talls ativas, kinda look like Christmas trees haha Thats exactly what I thought, I love the red and purple one and the wack as one with the super thin leaves at the end. Man they have such big trunks, Id love to go there one day. Bet its awesome to smoke, Im gonna have to ad that to the grow list.

Hope we get a good summer and some mad plants next season cant wait! Gonna order my seeds sometimes soon. A 150w CFL from switched on would be algood but we dont have one in masterton and Im not sure how Id set it up im still tryna figure that out. Were do I buy all the components? I was on amazon looking at all of this:

This one is 42W Cool white http://www.amazon.com/EarthTronics-CF42CW1B-42-Watt-Compact-Florescent/dp/B004WQPF8K/ref=sr_1_2?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1398924314&sr=1-2&keywords=cfl+150+watt+cw

Would that work? The problem is you need CW cfls - Cool white. Not WW - Warm white cfls so id need to find out if theyre Cool white or Warm white first.
Last year I just used a 14w CW CFL because it was my first time obviously haha

Bangi haze sounds like itl handle really well for us over here. Maybe poor old scrubdog could give it a try. Sounds like hes having tones of problems with rot and all that. Damn must have been an awful season for the south island. Get only one Taskenti you reckon? If I only get one I might just replace it for to regular Panama dc because that sounds really nice :) Well see though. What are DC's genetics it sounds amazing? Panama DC is a 50/50 hybrid I think so that would be algood down here. How come you cant order shit to your house anymore?

veg tent and mums

charity OG im loving the look of

bonsai beavers

Hey Aussie, do you just have goldfish in your aquaponics setup? I'd be interested in getting the plans off you of yours if that's cool? Wouldn't mind doing something like that myself :)

yep just 3 goldfish (comets actually) and 1 koi just for fun.

it hardly requires plans,

2 x 50l plastic tubs.
1 x pond pump
assorted hose and hose fittings to make a drip ring

bottom tub is a fish tank and top tub is a grow bed full of clay.
water is pumped up through a drip ring to wet the clay balls and runs straight out into the bottom tank.

very simple in construction. oh and chuck some compost worms in amongst the clay balls.
bacteria will colonise the clay balls naturally and they will break down the fish poo into plant food

Man that's awesome hey, cheers for the info mate :)
So the fish dont see light yeah? And do you just feed the fish like normal?

yeah i feed my fish once a day, you can actually feed more often in aquaponics if you like though because the water isnt prone to going sour like in an aquarium because the plants keep it clean.

you do have to get high quality fish feed though, high protein high fat.

and yes my fish see light, the top tub is turned sideways so it only covers half the bottom tub. i will post some pics

The original sensi stock was amazing, their hashplant kicked ass. Yeah that's Bodhi lol it says on the user name and I'm pretty sure he has that watermelon hashplant in seed form now. Nepal has some of the most unique sativas on the planet because of the high cbd ratio whereas usually pure sativas have basically none, that bangi has nepali genetics in it!. yeah all over those places would be cool to see what's growing, shit they're pretty high up for sativas.

We should have a good one, I've found every second season is good eg. 2010/11, 2012/2013 and this season was shit.
I'm sure you will figure something out, weed smokers always find a way to work something out when it comes to our plants lol.
my 50watt fluro works good for cloning/rooting and starting seeds off, also look into getting a heat pad for your younglings.
Yeah anything will work but you don't want anything under 40 watt, put them out in the sun like you did last year and they should be sweet.

Someone grew Banghi over in Denmark! which is 55N latitude. I personally wouldn't risk growing landrace sativas down south, they only barely finish up here as it is. Yeah only get 1 taskenti and get a fem panama dc if you want, get 2 and I'll swap you some Panama and/or Orient Express seeds for one or some landrace africans lol  haha. Deep Chunk's a landrace Afghanica that's extremely frosty and purple by the looks, put Panama in the mix and you have yourself a god like strain  I'm pretty sure they're hardly ever in stock.
It'd do really well down your way and I think It'd finish early April around the same time you harvested your plant this year. Can't order stuff to your house when there's 'something' going on here if you know what I mean ha.

just got the final weight on my little sugartrown express scrog, came in at 5 oz. im pretty happy with that for that strain. the buds are exceptionally nice this round, the weather slowed my dry right down took around 5 or 6 weeks i think to finally dry and the buds have a fully cured flavour straight off the stem, gotta love that.

next up is a little breeding project. im shutting down all my flowering rooms for a little while due to my new zealand holiday creeping up so im going to run a few quick crosses. i have decided first cab off the rank will be my cherry puff male, he will be hitting up all my best cuts so that includes Daybreaker, 2 sugartown express pheno's, 3 dream beaver pheno's and a charity OG.

Hey mate I was just wondering when the best time is to get some out door lady's on the go? I'm heading to Amsterdam from canada for a while and I'll be back in NZ 1st October so was going to bring some seeds back?

Depends if you get frosts where you live man. If you dont, best time to start them outside is september/early october. Even better if you can get them started earlier inside, they get massive that way :)
