Yeah thats it man, at least you got something out of it. Same happened here, heaps of rain caused big patches of mould and they couldve gone another 2 weeks at least! Ah well, still got about 160g off the blue og and about 90g off the shark.

Both of them snoke real nicely bro, the blue og tastes very sweet and has a very deep body stone that eventually puts you to sleep. The shark is just a nice mellow stone. They really could've used the extra few weeks to finish off though!
Yeah man we got absolutely hammered with rain from 7th april onwards and the plants held out like champions till 17th when they had a few patches of mold. They would have finished around now if the weather was normal.

Still a nice yield for a bad season, 5-6 oz's from a plant is not bad at all. Man that Blue OG sounds awesome, did you get the blue or kush pheno? sounds like a blue pheno to me. I think my one was a kush one as it wasn't sweet and had foxtail buds like a classic kush.
Any dried pics?.

Yeah bro that rain was bloody ridiculous, we had constant rain for 2 weeks so i wasnt surprised to find mould. Im happy with what i got so all is good :) hope yours got you some solid buds too dude!
I definitely had the blue moonshine pheno, she tasted like blueberries and smelt very sweet! I'll take some pics next time im outside and post them up :)

that blueberry skunk looks awesome MO.
so that was one of your own crosses?. i think im going to be doing a little breeding soon. i have a really nice dream beaver male but mostly i want to make some fem beans, i have quite a few mums which i have selected over the years and i really want to cross some of them together to see if i can create some real gems.

i think doing fems will take some of the guess work out of it because i know exactly how both parents flower and exactly which traits im looking for.

Cheers mate, that's a real compliment coming from you :-D
She did come out real nice though, she surprised me! She has a fair stench to her though ha ha.
Yeah mate i made the cross myself, i grew out the flying dutchmen version a while back and couldn't find the real sweet pheno i wanted to so i used their skunk 1 and crossed it to my blueberry male and BAM, worked a charm :) i also sprinkled some left over pollen from the male to back cross too!
Get into the breeding man, it is very addictive hey! I'll flick you a PM to get the convo out of Kiwi's thread :)

Yeah there was over 200mm and no sun for ages, still seemed to produce some weight and quality. The buds weigh up pretty good.
Those og buds look like they'll put some people to sleep lol, outdoors is always better imo.

Here's some little buds from the red/purple pheno finishing off still.DSC01917.JPGDSC01919.JPG DSC01918.JPG

Yeah totally agree man, outdoor is my favourite as well. I love growing hydro though for the chemistry side of things lol. I really hate having to chop them ha ha.
Man those buds of yours look beautiful, they will pack a serious punch.
Mate the blue og is great, has the wicked og hit and then mellows to the blueberry couchlock :)

It better be lol, I think this is Tauranga's worst april in history for sunshine hours - only 70 hours this month so far compared to 183 on average!. Na I've never grown JH personally, was talking about the afghani. Deep chunk's a mean breeding tool and a pure open pollinated landrace that i really want.

Mandala is a good one, has his own strains created and collected by himself. Yeah just vegging the Black domina g13 under LED at the moment here's the inside of the plant, shortest stature plant I've had yet.

Yeah Mazar is just an Afghani, I don't like Skunk #1 though. I'd rather the Mazar by itself. Some of those landrace indicas over the Chitrali kush mountains can take you way deeper than any other indica hybrid. It'd be cool to go over there and collect your own strains and try some opium too.

View attachment 3137431 Yeah the OE is going to be outdoors and indoors, the one on the left is the Chinese pheno and I think the right one is more of a Vietnamese pheno by the looks. I think the VB is from the 50's but you can't get it pure only Chinese yunnan x VB and VB x Thai but the OE is higher yielding with shorter flower time. I think most the stuff kiwis smoke would be indica dom indoors and probably a mix of sativa and indica dom for outside. Yeah pure landrace indicas are just as good as sativas for the high because it's so pure and unhybridised.
The OE is a straight up clear headed sativa high I think, I want a high like this because it's so rare these days - notice how no one laughs on weed anymore?.

Yeah you learnt a lot this season so your next will be epic with the strains you're getting and how you're gonna use organic.
I'm going to use the bat guano better next season, have a veg one and bloom one, And shit I'm definitely getting neem granules to stop those asshole vine hoppers! the bastards are still alive!.

Anyway here's the Panama buds still drying and not ready for the jar
View attachment 3137425 View attachment 3137426 Red-green-pink big bud.
View attachment 3137427 The red one. Surprised they actually turned out ok despite having their last 10 days being soaked with no sun.
Shit that's bad for up your way man only 70! The average fir april here is 155.6 but we defiantly haven't had that, dunno what the average has been this month though. Aw those afghani yield big as ae?
:) Deep chunk sounds nice as, you defiantly have to grow that out! Black domina does seem to have a short stature is it an indica dom?

Yeah same here im not particularly into the skunks lol This shit just sounds to good to resist because there are so many good reviews on it  What do you reckons a good landrace indica or pure indica that can take you pretty deep? Fuck yeah it would be awesome to go over and collect your own strains! What do you reckons the best time to start germinating ganja and putting it out side over here? oct or nov? Coz I wanna get all mine out nice an early and prep early but dont want them to flower early. Maybe put the indys out first?

OE looks awesome was that by Ace? Yea kiwi shits defiantly indica dominant mostly I think, seems harder to find a pure sativa over here. Sounds like the OE will be a nice clear headed high.
Yeah next season should be algood cant wait! Whats your veg and bloom ferts gonna be? Aw yeah man hopefully those neem granules will help. Good bit of N aswell.

Those Panama buds look tasty as! Frosty and nice looking. Panamas supposed to be a trippy kinda high isnt it? Let us know how she smokes.
My buds definably a sativa dom. An up, cerebral smooth but a reasonably strong high. Smoked some other stuff straight after though so I wanna wait till its properly cured out before I judge really how it is, but so far so good  Recon aces Bangi Haze would go alright down here coz it was devolved in a cold place in Spain and is supposed to be really good in colder climates.

you ever tried your hand at aquaponics mo? its actually very easy and has all the benefits of hydro mixed with the benefits of organic. i love doing little outdoor crops in the winter in it.

Nah i havent actually mate, havent really had the time to research it all properly, would love to do it though. Im actually trying to talk a close friend into setting one up on his farm and grow trout in it but looking at costs i dunno if he can afford it just yet. I know i dont have the space for it and id want to do it on a larger scale cos i love my fish :) looks awesome though hey and with my marine science/chem background i reckon i could do it easy enough!
So what species do you grow in yours mate? Im very interested too see what else can be done :)

i just have a couple of gold fish and a koi. i plan on going bigger one day but while i rent i will just stay small.
there really is nothing to it though, just feed the fish and the rest pretty much looks after itself. i dont even have to check PH or anything, its way easier than hydro thats for sure
