Voter ID is just a plan perpetrated by the man to keep a brother DOWN!
I couldn't give a damn about keeping brothers down or any old shit. i simply want to know if this is somehow different to being able to prove you're allowed to vote. So is this whole voter ID thing different to being able to prove eligibility? Or do you not even have to prove eligibility in the US?

But you can't support yourself and stalk men on the internet, and shit on floors for others to clean up. Why should anyone listen to what that kind of person has to say?

Seriously, why should anyone listen to a floor shitting stalker of men?

"but honest guys, I play poker, please accept me...."
You forgot that he has commitments at Stormfront too, you don't think he can spend all of his time here being the antiracist when he has to go over there and be the super racist, do you?

Wanna buy beer? ID please.
Wanna buy cigarettes? ID please.
Cash a check? ID please.
Rent a car? ID please.

The list is endless. Just get a phuckin ID if you want to vote already.
But Poor people do none of those things, so they don't need the ID, plus its so hard to get to the DMV when you are poor.

PS Just parroting Bucky here, sounds stupid I know.

Get there the same way you get everywhere else !!! Steal a car !!!! :)
But how will a poor person get the money to buy the slimjim to unlock the door? Again, a totally unrealistic plan.

Even assuming they did, how can they pay for the ID, they are poor and poor people have no money, ever, none.

Forgive my ignorance. Is voter ID different to being able to prove you are eligible to vote?
Yes.

States have their own rules on voting such as felonies can or can't but for the most part you just have to prove residency to be able to vote. IDs would simply be to prove you are who you say you are.

A simple solution would be to provide ID when registering to vote if you don't already have one.

Pubs and dems both know that the more effort required, the less likely a dem is to put in that effort. Instead of using common sense, the pubs are using that fact to their advantage placing hoops to jump through. Instead of offering a viable solution, the dems are stomping their feet and yelling "that's not fair".

Welcome to US politics.

Besides, voting is not a right legally in the United States.
you've tried that line of horse shit before, bignbushy.

The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

yes.

felons aside, any united states citizen has the right (is eligible) to vote.

voter ID would restrict eligibility to vote to only those who can show the correct documents to the government and pay money directly to the government in order to be able to vote.

some people would call that nanny state and a poll tax. the people who are most vocally in favor of this are the libertarians who always bellow about nanny state and government involvement in anything.

their bellowing rings hollow because they are two face hypocrites.
