Ok guys I want your opinion on a experiment I want to try. I have a plant which is 32 days old from seeding. The plant has not shown what sex it is. I wanted to try a experiment if I were to change the light timing to 12/12, this should force the plant to flower correct? If so please let me know if this is possible with this plant. It has quite a few nodes already. I am posting pics of the plant. I really dont care about this plant, its from a swag weed. Anyways let me know your input.

Oh man, with that HPS, your babies are going to EXPLODE!!!! Nice!! Does anyone know what causes those weird horizontal black lines when you're taking a photo under an HPS?

Your plant looks ready to flower! Switch up that lighting schedule and get ready to look for gender!

Thank you for the response, so I can set that one plant for 12/12 light timings under HPS right? Do you think I should let it grow some more? When the other plants are ready to flower I am going to place them under the HPS as well. Its a 250W hps light system.

ok started force flowering process today on the plants that are in pots by changing the hps lights to 12/12. Therefore took the aerogarden out of the vicinity...lol so changed the setup again. I also planted two seeds in another pot of soil. A WW seed and another lowryder. Once sprout has occured but I dont know which one it is. Here are some pics.

Hey SICC,

One of the plants which are in soil are not doing good for the last two days. The one plant that smelled great but was smaller started dieing. The leaves on the top are narrow and dry looking, even the new ones growing. It seemed like it wasnt drinking any water. However there are two plants in that one pot and the other plant is doing great and looking healthy. So I watered the plants with a high volume of nutes. The next day I saw the plant having some nute burn which tells me they are drinking again. Anyways I still cant tell the sex. I am posting a pic of it and two pics of my lowryders. Tell me what you think. By the way in the first pic its kinda blurry but each node has this little pointy leaf looking think on each side of it. Does that mean its a male? Its like that on all of the plants in soil.

yeah there are 3 pots total now. One is a brand new plant about a week old. Second has the largest plant in it. Third has two plants in it. I see these little single pointy leavs on the nodes. They are actually 4 of them on each node. Does this mean its a male or dont know yet.

naw you gotta give it some time, you will see lil balls when its a male, and V shaped hairs when a female, so the one with two plants is the pot where one of them is ding right? if so, its because one is taking up all the nutrients from the other, they will fight over water n what not

Ok cool I'll just have to wait and see. Yeah the lowryders in the AG are taking off like crazy. I put a lil bit of nutes in them. I saw some nute burn so just added some water with the correct ph level. Now the all the top parts of the plants are nice and green. However they havent showed sex yet either. I thought lowryders are suppose to show they sex already. I planted them on 12-29-08
