Just make sure that you get that male plant away from your aerogarden plants. LIKE A LONG WAYS AWAY, you should really just destroy it haha. It will pollinate your ladies and you wont get anything worth a damn, just some time down the drain.
Yup its far away.

And about the one that is broken in half, a buddy of mine had some success when this happened to him just by standing it back up and getting some clear tape and actually just taping it back together and just dont mess with it for a few days and it should grow back together and be strong enough by itself in like 2 or 3 days. Just something to try out. That sucks man, good luck though. My fingers are crossed for you.
Thats what I heard too. So I did exactly the same, I put clear tape around it and some support. Its standed up slanted but hopefully it recovers. However all the leaves are still green and no sign of drying out at all.

what up man id throw those hps lights on as soon as u start to flower...
what kinda hps..?
Yup I did

lowryders are a most def for the ag...omg! beautiful thing...
Here are pics of the HPS on the lowryders which are in the AG.

Today for the lowryder which snapped is not looking good. Leaves on the bottom are drying up big time. One leaf turned to crisp. Three other leaves are following. Damn I dont know if it will survive.

Damn it looks worst today. More leaves are drying up and shriveling up. The whole plant shrunk. The roots look a lil yellow. Should I take the plant out?

what did you put in your resivoir all together when you first started your AG, like when the seeds were just planted.

I'm not too keen on the space saver model but i love my ag classic. i suppose the space saver model might be good for a couple of dwarf plants. Peace

Well its a space saver 6. Here are the steps below:

1. Germinated seeds in a paper towel.
2. Removed the current seeds from the AG pods and planted in the germinated seeds in the pods.
3. Added a airstone with a airpump.
4. Got two additional hampton bay desk lamps and added cfl lights. Currently those lamps are 42 watts.
5. Also get a ph tester kit and test the ph everyday. It should be between 5-7. Just a little under 7 is good.

Hope this helped you out.

I have no idea whats going on with the lowryders. It seems to be happening with my other lowryder. It seems near the bottom part of the trunk/stem its drying up and looks damaged. This is what seems to happen to the other one. This is causing my plants to dry up, turning yellow, spots on the leaves, etc. What can I do to prevent this.

My only lowryer left is not doing to good. From my last post parts of the plant were turning dark green which is good. However hours later I saw it turning yellowish again and looked like its drying up. I see from the bottom part of the main stem looks like its drying up and damaged. So I checked the pH and it was fine, about 6. I looked at the roots and it looked very dark then usual. I flushed the res, when flushing I noticed the airstone had formed some yellowing scale on it as well. I cut the air pipe which goes from the pump to the res, and used a new airstone. When I was placing the top of the res, I noticed when the roots made contact with the water it caused some type of brown mist spreading into the water. It seemed like dirty roots. So I looked at some pcis of rotted roots. It was dark like mine. So I flushed the res again. Used some rubbing alcohol to flush out the res.

Here are the steps I took for disenifecting the roots.

1. Filled up a glass with hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, and hot water.
2. Filled up another glass with hot water.
3. Dipped the roots into the glass which has hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol. Then dipped the water into the glass which had only hot water. I repeated these steps a few times.

Note: I saw bunch of bubbles forming on the roots.

4. Measure the pH level of the water in the res, this is after the flush. Then place the plant back onto the res.

As of right now the leaves are drooping and seem to be turning yellow. Also I see a bunch of bud sites on the plant where it has white hairs. However there are a bunch of leaves around it that are drying up. Can I cut the dried up leave which are still connected to the lowryder? Any suggestions?

I really dont know whats going on but today I checked the ph level and it was way high around 8-8.5. I put in the ph decreaser. The lowryder looks like its dying.
