UTAH!!
Funny story, growing up I was friends with these 2 mormon kids, one my age and one a little older. They moved to Utah when we were teenagers, they both got married like right out of hs. The older one (never really liked him, his brother was atleast semi normal) ended up losing his job and getting a divorce because he couldn't pull himself away from the computer screen lol. The younger one is still happily married, moved back and has kids and has moved away from the flock so to speak.

The General has asked for 30,000 from anywhere, He`s not getting it because lethal aid is granted to Ukraine , not Iraq or Syria.
You mind giving me a link to a story on that, read a good amount of news and have not seen much about that. In fact if I am not reading the BBC news I rarely read about what is going on in Ukraine since that joke of a ceasefire (over 1,000 dead since). But it seems I am constantly reading about air strikes and deployments of military advisers (not active combat troops) to the middle east to fight ISIS.

Air strikes are not lethal aid. They are not even effective against the kind of war ISIS is waging. The only way to do it is with troops and armor. Obama has spoken and that wont happen in his term. He will allow the Islamic State to form during his term. Google Ukraine Lethal Aid.

You can google General Dempsey to see how he feels and what he needs. He is currently the CO over there.

Well its long over do that we give them financial aid on this, sanctioning the shit out of russia has an impact but that is long game imo. Also the article you linked makes it sound like all 350 million will be in weapons, there is a lot of infrastructure that must be rebuilt
Donetsk International Airport before:

Donetsk International Airport now:

So the aid is definitely needed, and it is over the course of 3 years, which I do not think this conflict will go on that long (I hope)

That`s why I wanted you to view other articles too. I just did the first link on google.

Anyway, what was it that Obama did again to lower the oil prices ? Executive orders don`t fly in Saudi Arabia.

You must skip the first part of the original post when you read it, he starts by stating how repubs grilled Obama over high gas prices (fail to see the connection there) but then do not give him praise for when they are lower than when he took office...
All I am trying to say is that if he was responsible for them being high, how is not remotely responsible for them being low *hint hint* I do not think he has a direct impact on them high or low. Which is why this thread exists in the first place is to prove that republicans are a bunch of damn cake eaters and have to have something to bitch about

i'll never understand how u.s. gas prices vary/are set. i once lived in the bay area (s.f.) where oil refineries are everywhere. gas prices always seemed to be sky high in norcal, yet cheaper say in the s.w. where they need to be trucked long distance. but gas prices would be usually be much lower in these distant areas...

go to the poorest parts of town rather than the most affluent. gas is always cheaper there.
