UTAH!!
Funny story, growing up I was friends with these 2 mormon kids, one my age and one a little older. They moved to Utah when we were teenagers, they both got married like right out of hs. The older one (never really liked him, his brother was atleast semi normal) ended up losing his job and getting a divorce because he couldn't pull himself away from the computer screen lol. The younger one is still happily married, moved back and has kids and has moved away from the flock so to speak.

ding! ding! ding!

You must skip the first part of the original post when you read it, he starts by stating how repubs grilled Obama over high gas prices (fail to see the connection there) but then do not give him praise for when they are lower than when he took office...
All I am trying to say is that if he was responsible for them being high, how is not remotely responsible for them being low *hint hint* I do not think he has a direct impact on them high or low. Which is why this thread exists in the first place is to prove that republicans are a bunch of damn cake eaters and have to have something to bitch about
Maybe so but he fails to tell the whole story then, I will finish it for him,....So let us not forget that it is better to hear Republicans bitch than to listen to Democrats lie.

But, but, but, you have all them oil sands, how is your gas not pennies a gal.?
believe it or not, canadian oil has to be sold on the open market at market prices.

the issue lies in how to get it there. that's why it's so expensive for them.

the keystone would alleviate this for them by piping down through the US to the gulf where their oil would be sold.

but at what cost? jobs? not really, 2000 temp/35 perm. something is better than nothing. but would not be the same as investing in our infrastructure to rebuild roads, bridges etc..you are literally talking hundreds of thousands of jobs.

pipeline accidents? are many and have been well documented..this is not just speculation.

so what is in it for the united states? the president kinda supports..we want to help our european american cousins:hug:

climate change is a big consideration on this as well..maybe the biggest concern.
