My first ever grow, stealth PC grow using LEDs

The smell is getting pretty strong. I've sealed all but the bottom part of the closet door with some weather striping. I also have a fan on the floor of the room to pull air into the closet. I have ona gel sitting right beside the grow box and an ona block in the room outside of the closet. I'm still getting whiffs throughout the house and I can only imagine it getting strong. Anyone have any other odor control suggestions?

I thought Mrgrowpros came with a carbon filter. Is that not working?

You could add one of these to the area: http://www.amazon.com/American-OEH26-Gonzo-Eliminator-ounces/dp/B000PGKPB8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400655214&sr=8-1&keywords=gonzo odor eliminator

I read about it on here and got one. Works pretty good alongside carbon filter and ona block.
Alright thanks man. Yea, it does have a carbon filter that I have attached to the exhaust fans but it still smells. I'm really surprised how much it smells already. Pretty concerning actually, especially this early. I'll get some of these and try it out.

Update day 21. Plants are looking nice and healthily I think. Here are some pics below. Leaves are getting big. The spots are not bigger so it looks like it was nute/water splash, so no big deal. Watered the larger one Tuesday and the smaller one Wednesday. Will give another round of grow nutes, this weekend.

Update day 26/27: Growing good and gave my second round of grow nutes over the weekend. I'm thinking they should start flowering by next week at the latest according to my autoflower research. I've been doing 1ml of grow nutes so far. When flowering starts I will start off with 1ml of grow + 1ml of bloom.

I put my scrog in today. Maybe I started this too late. In not really sure what I should do. Should I just let it grow through then tuck it back down. It looks like I've already started flowering or preflowering at least. Any suggestions would be great.

Hey man, just studying for my biology test tomorrow :wall: but I'll probably take a break this evening and upload some pics of my ScrOG so far, its going well. You should be able to use it as a reference and I can let you know what I've learnt, so i'll post here again this evening.

So basically from the information i gathered its sort of a weave process through the net. I let the main stem get about 3-4 inches through the net then bent her over and under the net. I continued this and eventually got a fairly even spread by directing a lot of the new stalks towards the other side of the box from the main steam to keep things even.
If i was you, i'd push that centered stalk up through and then allow the two split offs just beneath it to grow up into the adjacent squares and then start bending from there rather than just bending the whole plant under the net. What I did was cut one of the bars between the two squares in the center, this gave one larger hole which I could get the steam through well and had that as my starting point.
You should be able to see a somewhat decent timeline of my scrog if you scroll through my pictures.
Anyway best of luck!

I don't think your pictures came through. I ended up manually weaving it through. I have two plants in there so it's starting to get pretty congested. I did break two branches with just some fan leaves during the process, but it seem like it's still ok though. I'll take a pic tonight and upload.

Which one are you saying looks like a male? They are both feminized autoflower seeds. I just did quite a bit of comparison of photos between male and female plants. From what I'm seeing they look like females to me. I do agree about the scrooging. I dropped the ball on that.

Second one, from far away! You know better, you are growing it :)
I'm just thinking about too, low height scrog...

I appreciate the response, I just don't find any evidence of them being male. I inspected them very throughly last night. On the size, yea, I'm not sure how much yield I'll get. I figure they have about another month to a month and a half of growth until harvest according to the autoflower research I've done. The box doesn't allow the scrog to go much, if any, lower due to the fans. I just didn't do it correctly. I should have had it in there from probably week 2 on but I didn't read up on the concept well enough. Oh well, if I can get an ounce out of these two I'll be happy. Plus these are only one gallon pots and the soil sunk down much lower than I thought it was going to. The next grow should be better.

It just looked far from away, and with saying : "You know better, you are growing" it means - yea, you inspected it, so you will know better :)

Oh, i thought, that you cant scrog autos, haha!
But yea, i'm now starting to look for LED's and came to conclusion, i want to do 2x 50w CREE, 3000k, as from seeing results in forums, they are like WOW!

Starting to run into a height issue. Not sure what options I have. I only have about no more than 6 inches or so til the top of my case. Suggestions? I guess once it reaches the top and starts pushing against it, it will stop?

Don't be afraid to bend your plant down. I've been ruthless with mine and have managed to keep a nice flat plant that can stretch out as Buds during flower rather than taking up too much vertical room earlier on. I use wire but your screen is the same thing.

By raising your plant or lowering the light, you can keep the light nice and close.

Hope this helps.

Well Triplec, you're supposed to use the SCROG net to keep the plant down!
I've had the scrog net in place for maybe a little over a week. I dropped the ball and didn't put it in until a month into growing. I misunderstood the concept, but I'll know better for my next grow for sure. I manually weaved the plant the best I could but that's what I came up with and I did break a few fan leave stems in the process. It was a difficult and stressful process. The plants don't seems to be effected that much, I'm just running out of height. There's no going back now with the scrog, I don't think. The lights are only about 6 six inches away from the top of the plants, but so is the top of the case. So what's going to happen if it starts pushing up against the top?
