Huh? You have no counter to my arguments and you are saying it is easy for you? Typical
your argument was that 99% of people voted for obama due to race, and that our massive debt was not an issue 6 years ago.

yes, you made it easy. no need to counter an argument that has ZERO basis in reality.

and now, for the amusement of everyone i present....

A rabbit with a pancake on its head, BRILLIANT!! Try to refute THAT!!

Our debt has been an issue ever since the days of Andrew Jackson and every politician since that time has promised to stop spending so much and bring the deficit under control. Unfortunately the President doesn't have that kind of power. I'll tell you what the president does have though, scapegoat power, you can blame it all on him and congress will continue to spend irregardless.

Roads will still get repaired, Every time you buy gasoline you are contributing to the road fund. Its a separate tax that was actually smartly implemented and takes care of roads.
Theres a vital bridge about 10 miles from my home......its ancient, but connects to important business districts and is a major roadway in my area.
Last week the bridge was closed to traffic permanently due to safety issues. There was supposed to be a replacement bridge coming next year or so, the funding had been "secured" with some help from the federal government. Now over the last few weeks, guess what?

Doesnt look like the funding is gonna be there now, sorry no more bridge. This is going to have a MASSIVE impact for business' on both sides of the bridge. I tattooed at a shop in that neighborhood, when the bridge repairs were being done business dropped 80%, I had to leave the shop due to the income loss. All thoswe business' are going to die a quick death, no way around it besides to move if possible.

So sorry nodrama, i can tell you first hand roads arent being fixed and bridges are not being replaced already, you dont think that some of the federal cuts arent going to impact that even more? The states also get money from the feds for road/highway/bridge repair, you dont think that pool of federal money wont be impacted?

No the argument is the our economy wasnt in the shitter 6 years ago the way it is now. Did you read the FACTS i stated? 5% unemployment, not 10 %. GDP was going up, not down. And for the first time ever debt is 100% of GDP. Of course more consideration is going to be given towards debt when our economy is on a landslide. Oh and race was one of 3 factors i listed as to why he got elected. But you make that your sole argument, of course, immediately play the race card when you have no other argument.

ummm, wouldn't you think that employment, rather than debt, is the ting to focus on when unemployment is high? :dunce:

don't you think that with more people working, and more revenues coming in, and less unemployment checks going out, that we might be able to pay down the debt quicker? :dunce:

just a thought.

First thing i agree with you on. But the people that are still employed are scared shitless that our growing debt may collapse our economy, then they will lose their jobs too.

go take a historical look at things. we have been deeper in the shitter.

what we need is to spur employment and spending, something which massive cuts will NOT do. we can focus in on the debt once people are back to work. it will not collapse us, we are too big to fail.

you are a chicken little. and my chickens are cooler than you are.

Massive tax cuts could get people back to work ;-)
massive tax cuts for who?

we've seen that giving a millionaire $100k extra back every year has no effect, please reference 2001-present.

however, when the stimulus tax cuts came in, my dad was flooded with business.

so, tax cuts for who?

Tax cuts for everybody, especially the $20-$100k income range. All the experts talking about the DOW today are agreeing that a major cause for the sluggish market is because of a lack of consumer confidence due to their debt/lack of money. We need to pump money back into these peoples hands and allow them to become confident consumers again.

To be perfectly honest we have done tax cuts for like the last 10 years..starting with Bushy Jr...I have one question after 10 years of tax cuts WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE JOBS...people wake the fuck up..if we are getting tax cuts after 10 years of doing so ...do you really think they are going to start if we gave more...
