I think beardo is just being funny...he is our comic relief...I used to take his words as serious and him meaning exactly what he says until UB pointed out how he can go from stupid to actually pretty damn knowing.. depending on if he had his "meds" that day..lol..now I just play along and get a good laugh

The premise is interesting, but I feel like I have to point out that it doesn't really matter. The Fed has printed more money than either Bush or Obama and used it for loans and quantitative easing. No one even knows how much they've spent. I've read 9 trillion, 13 trillion, and a recent audit showed it to be more than 16 trillion. That's more than all of our debt. Instead of giving it to Bernanke's butt buddies on Wall Street, we could have paid off all of the debt.
