Got the day off so a pic update is in order. These are pictures mostly of the LST sativa, she seems further along so she's much more fun to look at. There is one pic of both plants in the box though, take a look at how much that other plant has grown out. I am somewhat worried about the condition of the fans on both plants. Its all old damage, but I'm sure its affecting my yield. But all things considered both plants are filling out nicely.

Thank you sir, I am really surprised at the quality of genetics found in this bagseed. The odd thing is the other plant is from the same bagseed, so it should be the same strain, but look at the difference. One is greener, and filling out much faster. Also, the LST sativa smells entirely different, and better. I can't wait to smoke some, just a few more weeks...

Have another pic update for everyone. The first three are tops of top colas, and the last three are bud shots of the topped plant. The latter is FINALLY starting to fill in, and looking pretty crystalline at that. Notice the odd side growth on the LST's buds. It almost looks like little buds are growing on top of the main bud. I think this might be what "foxtail" buds are. I don't really know what that means, but i've heard it used to describe buds like what I'm seeing.

just curious , how fast did your plants grow in veg state ? and did they grow faster when they started flowering?

They grew MUCH faster when I started flowering. All of my plants were between 6 and 10 inches when I went into flower, now one is about 18 inches and the other about 14 inches, maybe even a little taller. It really is true plants double in size when you put them into flower. All of the vertical growth happens in like 2 weeks as well its crazy. I started flowering in early September bye the way, I'm going on week seven of flower on Wednesday, I have a couple slow going sativa's, so it could be a few more weeks...

so just to clarify, you have four 42 watt cfls on how many plants ?

I have 4 40 watt bulbs on two plants. One is a sativa that I LST trained, and the other is a mostly sativa which was topped twice.

do you feel confident being able to guessestimate the yield on either plant?

Well on one plant its way to early to tell, I guess I can estimate a bare minimum on the budding that's already taking place, like 3/4 ounce? Remember that's a bare minimum. That's on the tall one that's taking forvever. The LST plant has way less growth shoots, but the cola's are way fatter, I would guess about an ounce is going to come off of her, mostly in the three biggest buds though, there isn't much popcorn on her.

Okay you asked for it here it is. Just the usual here, a few bud shots of the lst and the topped plant. The first four are the LST, the last two the topped one. Sucks but the best pic had to have the shit cropped out of it, cause yours truly was staring right back at the camera in the mirror. Its the one with the three top cola's, it used to be the whole plant. Those buds are getting FAT, especially for a sativa.
