The Left doesn't represent reality, 7x. ... they represent power at any cost.

Why aren't the "Feminists" speaking out against the atrocities being committed against the women of the Middle East? We are still hearing about Kent State as though Nixon order the National Guard to open fire, and yet, they say nothing about Waco or Ruby Ridge. Where were the Race Pimps of the left, Jackson and Sharpton when Clarence Thomas was receiving his "high-tech" lynching at the hands of the Democratic Senate?

These people live by a double standard. They repeat lies until they believe their own lies ... and folks like Med are duped by the psycopaths who formulate those lies.

Its sick, I tells ya, sick!

.
it doesn't ? why not?

seriously? doesn't raising taxes help...

maybe the gas tax should have been raised $2 or more three years ago or 10 years ago...

that money could have been put to great use... now it is going to the Saudis.. correct?

Actually, I believe the sick view is to give corporate welfare while 60 million+ Americans have no health care and another 200 million have inadequate health care, Sick is spending Billions on a trumped up war that is helping no-one but war profiteers while shipping jobs overseas. Sick is leaving our borders wide open with no protection for our vulnerable infrastructure while wiretapping US citizens and filing away their internet activities. Sick is looking for sex in a public toilet and soliciting underage pages for sex. The sick list is way too long for this regime to be throwing darts at Democrats, You VI have a very warped sense of values.

Raising taxes does nothing except transfer wealth from the private, productive sectors of the economy and transfer it to the inefficient belly of the beast of government. Those monies belong in the private sector where it would be used for creating additional jobs and buying capital goods like machinery, computers, etc., to keep business moving along at a brisk pace. Our high employment rate we are enjoying today is a direct result of the Bush tax cuts. Tax cuts make the economy buzz right along ... and even the poor benefit from that.

On you gas question: If gas prices rise, the cost of all goods and services rise right along with it. If goods and services increase in price, the poor and the middle class suffer the most. Its just a matter of simple economics.

Well, not that your answer deserves any rebuttal as it is so obvious that you are just for the rich keeping their money, but as for more jobs, ~LOL~ yeah, maybe for the illegals and foriegn tech guys, but mostly it would allow the rich to keep a larger portion of the economy to themselves, and cut any and all assistance to the poor allowing them to rely soley on charity, a huge fucking joke. Drive around in downtown LA sometime to see how your precious charity works, NOT. You rich pricks need to pay a large portion of you income to government to keep things moving along, while giving the middle class a break. My idea of justice would be to reverse the money flow. Take from the rich and give to the poor, instead of the rich taking all the money for themselves. yeah, call me a commie, but I'd prefer Robin hood.

Here you go with more of your Leftist psycobabble, Med. Robinhood didn't steal from the rich as you would like people to believe. Robinhood stole from the government (the King), only that, which the King stole from the poor, in the guise of taxes. Robinhood returned the stolen goods to their rightful owners ... the overly taxed people of the forest. Geeze-Louise Med ... learn a little forest history before you post, will ya?

And I was about to side up with you, well I never..................
it's just not cool to twist a children's story to make it match up with your socialist views.

besides, it's more important to teach them about the dangers of a powerful elite than to dissuade them from having aspirations of success. :)

You are accusing me of twisting a childrens story to mind wash children? How dare you? This is an adults only web site. when my grandkids are old enough to be interested, if I'm still alive. I'll give them my wisdom then. Don't play with my words, I'm not trying to twist a childrens story for kids. Whether it was the kings men or the rich land barons he stole from, he still gave it to the poor, so the premise is still correct. Do I believe that a re-distributing of the money would make this a better planet, Hell yes. Why should one individual sit on billions when people are starving. That money could be used to provide millions of jobs re-building our infrastructure for one, providing medical to all for two. The list of improvements to humanity would be long with wealth distribution. Capital-ism has had it's day. Enough with the wealth hoarding.

we haven't seen true macro-capitalism since the early 1800s. it worked well then but we've replaced it with a micro version... easier for the government to manipulate and fatten itself with.

i honestly believe that people chose their lot. i know i have, every step of the way. just because some one is scared to start their own business doesn't mean they deserve money from the guy who did... i don't like theft.

Just because you are an "A" personality, doesn't give you status over anyone that isn't. This world is made up of many personalities, some part is inherited, some is through their early environment. There are people that need help to make it in the world. Not everyone is a self starter, Just because you have ambition and confidence does not make you superior. That is why we need a social structure. To help the less endowed. Hey, go look in the fricken mirror, what do you see, hopefully, you see a human being, not a little Lord Fauntleroy. In other words, yes your shit stinks just like the beggar on the street. Where's all that Christian loving kindness. Yup, you are a hypocrite, just because you've made something for yourself, you think everyone has the same chances. That is a fallicy pure and simple. There are advantages to being born in the right spot, with the right upbringing. I wonder if you were born black in an inner city Ghetto if you would be in the same place in life as you are now?

you're crazy. i've had to FORCE myself to do a lot of things that i am very uncomfortable doing in order to MAKE myself a better person. it's not easy for some of us but that's no excuse for worshiping government programs and giving up. that's what the government programs are really for - it's an excuse to make people ok with giving up on themselves. that's the ultimate role of big government - to help people see that they are inadequate and be there to make their individual surrender official when they go to vote for the "lesser of two evils".

i can't think of anything more cruel than giving people incentives to give up.

voluntary charity on the other hand is a wonderful product of truly advanced society; when false kindness isn't legislated by pandering liars you know you live in a wonderful world! :)

Yup, you are delusional. How does one get so callous? You are presupposing that everyone that doesn't do as you did is a lazy worthless piece of crap all fostered by governmental care. Maybe dillusional is too mild of a word, maybe downright stupid would be more fitting. It's obvious that you have led a sheltered life. You didn't even try to answer my Ghetto question. You know damn well that you would not be where you are today if you were born black in the inner city ghettos of any large city. Your pompous elitest attitude reeks of superiority. Just remember, the higher you are, the harder the fall!

yeah, i can see how you would think it's callous to believe in people. i can see how it's callous to not want to hold people down with government programs that reinforce failure and reward quiting. that makes a lot of sense...

if you make the decision to stab your eyes out because you didn't like what you saw on TV don't hate me for telling you that you could have just changed the channel.

the reason i didn't answer the ghetto question is because i thought it was covered in my response. that would make me try harder. that would make me work more. also, i don't look down on black people the way you seem to. i don't associate being black with instant failure.

once we rid the government of affirmative action mandates and failure programs the minorities that are enslaved by them will prosper.
