Leftist Blogs Defend Police Brutality In Student Tazering

From the minute he asked why he was being arrested, the police had to answer it or get out of the way. His hands were above his head. Kerry should have been able to stop and control this situation. Inciting a riot?? VV

Well, I think the difference of opinion here is in the way we all saw the video tape. I saw this obnoxious kid being asked to leave the venue. He became more obnoxious as time progressed. It looked like he was resisting being escorted out. When the cops tried to put the cuffs on, he wouldn't put his hands behind his back and continued resisting. It started out with one female cop, then escalated from there. If they had shot him with a handgun, or beat him over the head with a billy club, then I could see you guy's point on this. By using non-lethal force in order to get someone to comply with police orders is not the end of the earth. And if you all noticed, he did comply after being tazed. How much do you want to bet that Gloria Alred will come to the rescue. ~lol~

And then Med said this:

Remember Kent State. Police under Republican administrations, seem to think they can get away with more, and it's pretty obvious they can. Just look at how that neo-con VI looks at this situation: The police were right, the student deserved to be tased, no civil disobedience allowed, etc.
In other words, welcome to the police state, get used to it and don't resist.

Well, I happen to believe that Kent State was a travisty and that Nixon was a jerk. Also, I am so far from a NeoCon politically it isn't even funny. NeoCons are all Old Leftists who have found a home in the Republican Party. They are nothing more than socialists just like you, Med, except they belong to a rival gang.

By the way, why no mention of Janet Reno and Waco in your diatribe? Ruby Ridge anyone? Yeppers ... that Clinton hired the right sniper in that Lon Horiuchi guy. Man, one shot right through the head of Vicky Weaver from 500 yards out! Lucky she fell softly and didn't hurt the baby she was holding her arms, eh Med? Yeppers, we can trust the Democrats to end the police state all right.

It just occured to me why I dislike Hillary so much. She reminds me of a jack-booted Commissar from the old Soviet Union. Can't you just picture Harry Reid serving Hillary her afternoon tea in the Oval Office and saying: "Enough sugar, Madam Comrad?" ~lol~

I AGREE,,..... GULP

OH MY FOOKING LORD... we have reached a common denominator...

Do you agree that it would have been better if the female cop flashed him her tits and told him that he could feel them when they were outside the VENUE... as a more civilized approach...

YELLING at a rally is one thing.. but being non compliant KNOWING that people in the room with guns are there to GET YOU....

is just ... just.... beyond my way of doing things...

as obnoxious as he was, he was asking real questions. he wasn't spouting off stupid crap like "illegitimate Bush regime!" or anything that childish. he was obviously a Kerry supporter who felt disenfranchised. he basically wanted to know if that election (2004) was a power play by the shadow government... and why Kerry didn't address certain questionable events.

i think GK has a wonderful concept of police brutality!

no kidding, Vi, the prospect of Hillary is much scarier to me than any islamic extremist group. some people might think that sounds funny but i'm not laughing. another round of lawyerly Clinton style international policy/ignorance will usher in a whole new level of tilt to the already precarious affairs that concern the US.

not only will she ramp up the police state mentality, as her husband did, she will expand the door busting, home burning, church storming efforts that built her husband's legacy.
she's already consulting with a criminal who was caught trying to cleanse justice department records about the police state brutality that her and Bill were so fond of.

first thing that pops into my mind is cheating on his wife.

second, the burning building in Waco and the suffering of children burning to death while clinging to their mom because they didn't have a couple licenses for old guns. Ruby Ridge also pops up.

third, the arrogant and failed cruise missile attack on bin laden.

fourth, Janet Reno's statement that any people who regularly give money to their church are "extremists".

fifth, the failed farse of a peace accord between the PLO and Israel where Clinton tried to feign the intellect of Carter by promoting peace in that volatile region. he might be "charming" but he's no intellect.

i can keep going but i don't want to. Clinton contributed nothing beneficial to the American people, feminine or not.

He contributed to my prosperity and peace of mind, something that had been ripped apart by Bush 1. Did he have a few fuck-ups, well yeah, he was human. The 8 years that Clinton was in office were the best years of my life, so talk shit all you want, I know what works for me. I really don't blame Waco on Clinton, rather on the ATF who got their panties in a bunch and got their asses kicked, then Reno couldn't be seen as weak so she sent the FBI to finish the job and those assholes blew it. I saw all the tapes and the FBI started that fire, plain as day. Also the FBI, not Clinton, gave an unauthorized order to fire on Ruby ridge, do a little more research before you start blaming Clinton for all the fuckups during his administration, eh.

yeah, i guess the attorney general didn't go over those orders to shoot first, or the orders to begin shooting without announcing who they were. those orders came from the president who also gave the surviving kids a check for $1,000,000 each. i guess she and Clinton probably didn't have time to review the case and see that the federal warrant was based on a date error that the circuit courts said should have destroyed the whole case. research? go finish your bowl of Wheaties and come back.

clinton was at the root of it all. if you blame bush for everything blame that leftist scum bag too.

clinton's violence inspired foreign policy (with a dash of abandoning stranded troops) ushered in a new era of domestic violence, look at the FBI stats.

Prove it!!!
before you ask me to do that, you do realize that it was Bill Clinton himself who made the choice to abandon the special forces in Mogadishu, right? that kind of character sets the tone for all this...

before i have to connect the dots and confuse anyone, you do realize that Bill Clinton personally assigned Richard Rogers as head of the Hostage Rescue Team (even though there were no hostages) to Waco, right? Rogers was on the scene at both Ruby Ridge and Waco, yet he sat through congressional testimony that said no tear gas was used... he gave the orders to use it in Waco.

you do know that former assistant director of the FBI, Larry Potts - who was in charge of Ruby Ridge and Waco, retired in 1997 and became executive VP of "Investigative Group International (IGI), a private firm retained by President Clinton to investigate judges, reporters, and other potential enemies of his administration"? he plead guilty to Obstruction of Justice (just like daddy clinton!).

why didn't Clinton fire Horiuchi after Ruby Ridge, he was charged with manslaughter for killing that woman, why keep him on board? because he was a sicko lunatic, that's why. texas rangers found more than 3 dozen shell casings around his sniper post - he was shooting at people who were trying to escape from the fire!

Janet Reno "agreed to let them tear-gas the compound" using military incendiary tear gas. did she check with the boss before? you bet.

I really don't believe Bill would want to be involved in such doings. I'm pretty sure he isolated himself as far from that debacle as he could, before, during, and after. He had much bigger fish to fry. All presidents make mistakes, but I don"t blame Waco or Ruby ridge on Clinton. If you can put Bills signature on the field ops. I'd like to see them.

Med ...

Its simply amazing how you blame every bureucratic fuck-up during Bush's administration on GW, then turn right around and discount the government's murder of 80+ people in Waco and Ruby Ridge under Clinton's administration like this:

"Also the FBI, not Clinton, gave an unauthorized order to fire on Ruby ridge, do a little more research before you start blaming Clinton for all the fuckups during his administration, eh."

Why do you continue with the schrade that you are an Independent?

If you are going to rudely assault my thread, why don't you at least answer the question iT poses before you you so rudley lable me with some bullshit? Prove Clinton ordered the sniper to fire on Ruby ridge or at Waco! I saw the helicopter views of the FBI (NSA_CIA) assholes shooting the people fleeing the burning building at Waco, Waco was a trajedy, but prove Bill Clinton gave the field orders! And Oh did I mention, Fuck you.

you know good and well that he did. if he didn't there would have been people fired for making that decision on their own. if he didn't order those executions he would have had to blame someone but he didn't because he knew someone would come out with the truth. what happened instead was promotions for all the key players!

it's also worth throwing out that his buddy Vince was murdered (does anyone really think it was suicide??) during the media frenzy surrounding the "siege" at waco.

as much as you may idolize him and fantasize about him being in power again - clinton is extremely corrupt. i voted for Bush twice but i am still honest enough to carefully consider many of the strange events and mysterious happenings. why can't you step out of your fantasy world to take a look at this clinton guy?

what has made you and so many others more loyal to a "party" than to ideals?

why are the democrats who demand an exit from Iraq still supporting hillary when she has no intention to ever leave Iraq?

did they implant chips in you people? are you people?

i mean, shit, i have always had an inquisitive streak and been a bit rebellious - so blindly following anything is out of my nature - but they really have this down to a science. they really do have you people trained just like they said they would.

"what has made you and so many others more loyal to a "party" than to ideals?"

Excellent question, 7x. I believe its because these folks don't have any real "ideals." Certianly, no ideals as they pertain to liberty and freedom, anyway. They want one thing from their government, and one thing only ... a free lunch at the expense of someone else. They want their representatives to pass laws allowing that, which in the private sector, would entail a jail sentence. In other words, they want to legalize theft through their lawmakers.

So I guess you two are the keepers of Ideals, eh. what unmitigated gall. You two must have gynormous egos that for some unknown reason know what I am thinking. I shouldn't even tender this with a reply, but such pomposity deserves critique.
1st. No-one has control of my thoughts (unlike the right wing idiots that have fed you the koolaide)
2nd. I think Bill Clinton was one of the great presidents of modern times. He made the country prosper, (The whole country, not just the rich).
3rd. when it comes to Ideals, Clinton did more for working families than all the presidents since FDR., He certainly didn't throw us into an unwinnable war.
4th. I reserve the right to like whom I so am inclined, so bugger off.

Back to the tazer question:....Today, by the count of CBS News, 70 people have died after being TASERed, including 10 in August alone, Andrews observes. And while the company asserts every one of these victims died of something else, many critics believe the company has not done enough research to know that with certainty, Andrews adds.

you'll really go blank and ignore that no one got fired for those "foul ups"? guess there is some truth to the old idea that dems are head in the sand folks!

so Bill helped the engineers develop more cost effective microprocessor fabrication technologies/created the prosperity of the 90s... i thought gore was the techy of the two.

lol

what did clinton do for working families? raising taxes doesn't count as helping people....

who cares, the guy is just a loser that smiles a lot.

Loser, you are calling someone else a loser ~LOL~. Prosperity reigned when he was king. The rest of the world liked us way more than now, geeze, you could actually go on vacation to a lot of countries without fear of being kidnapped for ransom or just being outright killed as the ugly American, pull your head out of that hatred for lefties, (I wonder where that came from) and fess up, the world was a much more prosperous place for the middle class and much safer under Clinton. I know, reality sucks don't it,~LOL~.
