Seoul VioSys and RayVio are the only Led UV chips I can think of off the top of my head.

You can look at the bottom of the page at the related products list and there's several others.

The 285nm one is too low right? We want 315?

No, 280-310nm is all good in that range
Oh I thought 280 was Uvc
Just googled it and realised I was wrong. Might see if I can make a decent strip of those.

What do cutter and samsung use as a pcb? It isn’t aluminium sheet is it?

Damn even with those individual diodes 1 per sqft would set me back nearly 3000 usd

It's aluminum. And also, be sure when you see that price of $100+ you check it's not stuck in AUD and is displaying in your local currency.

Yeah i convert values to usd when posting on here so it’s easier for others to see. I noticed they are slightly cheaper if I switch the product code to the ones that come on a reel. I can get it that way for 2000 usd .

alibaba has a lot of 280nm chips but don’t know which ones you can trust to be decent

Which UVA and UVB diodes do you recommend I’m struggling to find any
I do not recommend UVB leds at all. Just because they are available doesn't mean you should use them. Spend your money first on UVA and near UVA. Later maybe consider it but unless you have your near UV and UVA first then do not bother

Why is this? Most studies I’ve read suggest cannabis prefers uvb for cannabinoid and thc increasing effects

I have read that too. It doesn't change my opinion. Sort out your UVA and near UVA first. You can do what you like with dna damaging leds that you can not see or have any idea of how powerful they are though as its your choice

And quite honestly. I do t think $115 is that bad for UV that's gonna last like 5X longer than any Fluoro counter part would.
Those chips, according to @nachooo the viosys UV Diods he got were like $50/pc. And couldn't put out near the power these do. I might be wrong though.
Just saying if 2 of those could cover a 4x8 I'm down.
But once again, left in the dark from Mark. (hey that rhymed)
But I'm assuming it's because it's the weekend now and he's busy. But really hope to see on or before Monday night, a response just laying out everything he knows on them. This is the 4th time I've asked.
The 285 nm seoul viosys I bought was about 20$ per unit at digikey...There are cheaper options..but I bought the most efficient ones.

What did the 285 do for your herbs? If you could quantify it with a hairy eyeball that is.

There's quite a lot of options surprisingly on eblay that I saw just searching 280 UV led
You think cheap Chinese non branded leds would do the job? Wasn’t sure if a non reputable brand would be useful as we won’t know if they are even outputting 280nm
