Max temp @ 33.1? Is this too hot or am I wrong? Again, it has to do with what your lady likes!!

Cheers!!

That is definitely too hot. Full grown plants can take that heat but they will consume obscene amounts of water. It's best to maintain something under 85*. Your 75* low is good but if you can dial the overall heat back 10* you'll be damn near perfect.

It probably would be if it was at that temperature all the time but that was on an extremely humid day where it ended up being thunderstorms all day so I don't think it would have been at that temperature for a very long time.

I'd say it sits around the 24-28 degree point. I run the 12 hr light cycle during the night which is why there isn't an very low minimum.

The plants seem to be fine with it? Do they look healthy to you?

So pretty sure it's a hermy...fml

It's gotten so big and juicy as well. Should I ditch or it can I still use it?

i've put so much time and effort into it which is why I'm so reluctant to ditch it :cuss:

Personally I don't see nothing like a hermie.

If you see something round-shaped it doesn't mean you got balls, unless you actually see them (you'll know when you have them)!

Stop worrying too much, it's one of the problems we all have! bongsmilie
And remember, even if it is a hermie, but you can still get some bud, why not keep it? It's really into flowering!!

Cheers!!

Thanks for all your help bro, you've been amazing!

Here's a few more pics, according to the seed data it should be ready 8 weeks after flower (which would be May 4th) but I reckon it's gonna take a little longer than that. Tell me what you all think

Yeah bro when I open the filing cabinet up she stinks up the room!

I've got one of these sitting on a ledge right in front of the exhaust fan and so far it's done really well in keeping the smell away:

Lowering the ambient heat........ will help the spectrum of your LED actually be, the spectrum advertised.

Heat will change the color of the diodes as the current changes...just some food for thought.

Try to keep your LED's @ 22-25C for best performance, both color wise and efficiency wise too.

As far as constructive criticism, the photos seem to reflect that the heat is up too high. The plants just looked stressed altogether, like a high heat, high evaporative situation.

I think it is often overlooked but getting the heat right, helps so many other things: plant health, overall watering etc etc....do not take it for granted. Honestly think that might help a ton and maybe you can enjoy the growing part instead of the other side.....

Thanks, the high heat is probably due to the fact i live in a subtropical area and this grow started at the end of summer / start of autumn. My next grow with the seeds I bought will start at the end of autumn / go through winter so this will probably be ideal temperature wise.

It's officially 8 weeks of flowering completed now.

I'm thinking maybe one more week until I can harvest? What do the more experienced out there think, I'm more than open to your advice as I've never harvested before :P Also, would there be any harm in snipping a bit off to try before then (i.e now)?

Hey man!
I think it's too early to even consider snipping something off, it's not only the fact that she might not get you high, it's also that you'll regret big time in the end. Cos snipping, let's say 0.2g now, would eventually turn out to be even a full g, come drying time!!
Looking really nice tho!

Cheers!!

Concur there CDS, snipping now will lead to sadness later on. They are some nice looking buds. Wait on the trichomes to turn before you snip.

Looking good but def needs some more time .. They look like they have some ripening up to do for sure.. Let them go atleast another week or two and you'll see them blow up in size.. Last couple weeks is when the buds really fatten up

The waiting is the killer!! ;) Are you counting the flowering period from when you switched the lights or from when flowers started to appear?

How have you found that LED? Worth the money? I've read that they bleach the plants etc but I like to find out from people who've actually tried it. CFLs are just not cutting it anymore so thought I'd ask if the LED is good in such a small area?

Pretty good man I've never used anything else before (1st grow) so can't really say whether or not it's worth the money, but it's definitely done what I wanted it to. Being such a small area I decided that I'd go with a cheaper option because even if it was below the advertised output, it would still be more than enough for the proposed cabinet design.

Haven't had any bleaching issues, I was worried about it early on and as a result had my plants a fair way away from the LED but now they're basically less then 3cm's away and still doing perfectly fine. I wish I had of started them closer and I definitely will next time.

In conclusion, if you've got a smallish area like mine then yes it probably is a good buy, but if you've got the $$$ to spend on a decent one then definitely go for that. If I had the money I would definitely replace it without a second though with one of these:

Edit:

I'm counting from when I switched over, am I meant to count from flowering?

Some people count from switching to 12/12 but it can take a week or two for sex to show and flowering to begin so it's best to count from when flowering actually starts to give you a better idea of maturity. Others may disagree with me on that!

LED looks good to me. Good to see it in action in a small space :D
