LED Stealth Filing Cabinet Build/Grow"

Looks like a winner you have there. I am assuming that this isn't an auto flower? I can't say yes or no as to switch the light cycle, but remember being impatient will kill faster than anything.
You are correct in assuming it's not an auto. I have some auto's but this is kinda my 'test' run because I have heaps of fem'ed non auto THC Bomb seeds but only 5 Sweet Tooth Auto's to play with.

Yeah it's probably not really about being impatient but I'm worried that I'm gonna get to like week 5/6 and have no space for it to grow into.

Yeah definitely got that cut right! Topped one of my autos :)

Cheers bro! Was so nervous doing it at the time, almost chickened out of it at one stage kept telling myself: "it'll be less risky if you don't cut it, pussy out" haha

Update:

It reached the screen today and I've decided I'll give it 5 more days until I switch to 12/12. 5 days will make it 30 days veg inside the box and hopefully that'll be near enough to optimum time.

Exactly what I was like lol, ended up topping one and leaving the other just in case! Nice grow :)

Iv also been looking at buying that led grow light and running it with cfl between plants, how far from the tops does it have r too be? Does it get hot?

It doesn't get hot at all bro, you can touch the LED when it's on, I live in a hot area and deadset the inside of my growbox is often cooler then my room itself due to the circulation of air.

With regards to the tops you can only go about 4" to them which is a bit of a bummer for me cause that's a fair bit of space, but money for value wise I'm pretty pumped with how well it's going.

So I've got some brown spots showing up on leaves... There's at most 2 spots so it's only early doors and hopefully I can stop it. I'm thinking it's a deficiency and hopefully that stuff I started using will help.

No one ended up getting back to me on this but no new spots have shown and the older ones seem to have faded so I'm happy with how it's going.

So it's now in 12/12 and by the looks of it I have a female :)

Another question though, can I cut a fan leaf off? It's currently blocking the light of some of the lower 'bud sites' so was wondering if I could get rid of it without causing too much harm to the plant. I'll circle it in the picture below.

Edit: Sorry about the extremely poor photoquality, these were taken with a phone (that has a bad camera) so it was a double whammy. Plus they were an hour into their "sleep" phase so don't exactly look amazing either.

Hey Enisso, you're doing great!

About the leaf, if there's no way you can turn it sideways somehow, you could cut it like this (as much as you want) but don't cut it entirely off, if you can!

Hope I helped, cheers!

IMG_0060.jpgDon't cut your fan leaves off, this is where the plant gets its energy.. just tuck it under the plant somewhere out of the way of the bud site

So I got around to buying some batteries for my digital camera so I could take some better photos. Here is Day 39.

As always, thoughts/criticisms/ideas are always welcome.

Looks good. How far is your net above the plants when you started. I see where you are going in soil. I have mine in a DWC tote and i was wondering how I was going to remove the tote for water change and cleaning. I have a rack that I converted but I think it may be a problem when I need to remove the tote. I think I may have to make a SCROG that will attach to the top of the tote lid. I think I will try to make fixture tomorrow at work for holding the LED light

Thanks Hanky, this is my first ever SCROG grow (first ever grow for that matter :P ) and I really like it, its a super easy way to LST with out having to individually hold down each part.

Yeah that may be an issue for a soil-less grow, I think the top of the tote lid idea should work. My net is 14cm above the top of the pot and about 9cm away from the bottom of the LED light.

Here's another photo from today:

So woke up this morning to see that my bottom fan leaves are like super droopy?!?!?!? They're the only ones, everything else is perfectly fine! Could it be the fact not much light is getting through to them now the SCROG is starting to fill?

Also here's a pic of what I picked up the other day, it's not bad compared to half the shit you get around here:

Hey man.
You're doing great, don't worry about the droopy leaves. I don't know for sure if it's the lack of light, but I've seen it in many scrog grows!
There'll just be a time that you'll decide to prune her bottom leaves and as a result, cut these babies off.
But I suppose that would be in the flowering period!

Cheers, great greenery!! :weed:

Haven't updated for a bit, but good news is I had a house inspection today and didn't come home to coppers!!! So it's definitely stealth which is great haha.

Plant is chilling along, nothings really happening. It's just growing I guess :P The first 30 days are a lot more intensive and interesting then what's happening now, but no news is good news.

So got myself one of those max/min temp/humidity measuring devices and here's how it's going:

Temperature:
Max: 33.1 (91.58F)
Min: 24.2 (75.56)

Humidity:
Max: 70%
Min: 44%

These numbers are pretty good yeah? As you can probably tell I live in a fairly tropical location.

Here are some new pics as well: (coincidentally this is day 50!!!)
