Hi all and happy turkey day to any Canadians out there :)

Weekly update for the 3x3, Day 40 of 12/12 and the girls are happy. They're just fattening the buds now, you can see a significant change in the last week in bud/cola development. Buds are getting thicker, and more dense. They're drinking heavy, 2 1/2 to 3 days and they're dry, tells me they're healthy and it shows in the development rate. Time to just let them do their thing, 2-2 1/2 weeks left for JTR, 3 1/2 or so for the PPP's.

Environment is steady, 80-84F lights on, 70-74F light off, 50-55% RH lights on, 55-60 RH lights off. With air exchange 24/7 and lots of circulation, the plants are loving it, should be a good run :bigjoint:

Update on the Blue Dream at Day 22 of 12/12, Day 7 under the CMH.

Great bud development this first week under the CMH, the change in lights is showing to be very beneficial in the development rate. No signs of stress at all, my only concern with changing lights again was a potential slow-down while it adjusted, no worries there, more like it super-charged bud development :bigjoint:

This is supposed to be a 9 week strain, so I'm looking to finish it in 6-7 weeks, should be a huge bud ball the way it's forming colas/buds. Lots of training went into this one over 10 weeks or so of veg. Looks like the training is going to pay off big if I can keep her healthy. Glad I went with the 7Gal fabric pot, just finished an outdoor plant in a 7Gal that was 4ft tall and wider/bigger than this BD. These fabric pots can handle much bigger plants with no root binding to worry about, great airflow to the root zone, that and the root pruning builds a strong/healthy root ball, exactly what you want for larger plants. Very happy with the switch to fabric pots a few rounds back. There are so many brands out there now, prices keep falling, insignificant cost for the performance/results vs. plastic pots, this tech rocks, highly recommended.

Camshot last night of the 3x3 girls, fattening up @day 43 12/12, just coasting now, will try and get some bud porn later.
You can see the Blue Dream peaking out under the camera, colas/buds continue to form, big changes daily now @day 25 of 12/12, she's going to be a beast :bigjoint:

As promised, some bud porn on Day 44 for the 3x3 and Day 26 for the Blue Dream.

Got some nice shots of JTR, one captures the whole plant, very distinctive buds, frosting up well. There's a PPP bud in the bottom-right corner of that JTR shot for comparison. This is the biggest and most colas I've pulled yet for this plant, should be a nice haul of frosty goodness :bigjoint:

Got a good shot capturing the bud/cola development on the Blue Dream, it's stacking up nicely as well. That pot that it's dwarfing is a 7Gal GeoPot :D

Weekly update, just cruising along, Day 47 for the 3x3, Day 29 for the Blue Dream. Both are just packing on the buds :hump:

The JTR in the 3x3 is around 1 week away, but it's looking healthy, no signs of fading, will let it go until it's done. This is a much bigger plant than the last round, I'll let it pack on the weight until I see some signs of amber. Still lots of clear trichs. The colas are sagging, buds are feeling nice and dense again, this one will put out some decent weight. The PPP's are doing well and putting weight on the colas, some are starting to lean/sag and it has 2 - 2 1/2 weeks go.

Blue Dream is doing amazing. I can see why this is a popular strain, bud production is crazy on this thing. It's also the easiest strain I've grown indoor, most strains I'm having to make adjustments for defs here & there, this BD's been happy with whatever I give it and just chugs along.

One thing that's proven positive this round is the training. They were all LST'd and FIM'd, super-cropped 2 of the 3 PPP's, those 2 are much larger, healthier and have more bud sites than the one that wasn't. The JTR was done on 2 main branches early on and it's produced the most bud sites yet for this strain/pheno.

Including a pic of some plants coming up in veg, they'll feed the next 2 rounds under the 2 LEC's. They've been FIM'd once, 6 have been super-cropped, all are LST'd after re-potting them with the training rings. They were just transplanted and re-tied down, in a week they'll be adjusted and pumping out new growth fast. 6 on the left are in 3Gal, they'll run when the 3x3 finishes in the 3Gal pots. The other 3 on the right are in 2Gal for now, they'll transfer to 5gal, maybe 7gal pots when the first 6 move into flowering. There's Jack The Ripper, Blue Dream, THC Bomb, Blue Pyramid, and Super Skunk in this batch :bigjoint:

Damn I like technology, got a 4th Cam, installed and integrated them all into one monitoring screen, cool for quick views/reviews of all my ladies. Here's some shots from last night and a screen shot of what it looks like on my laptop. A bunch of healthy/happy girls, hopefully a boy or two in the tent... Cheers :)

Seedling/clone cabinet, some extra clones and 6x DIY seeds coming up for 3 rounds out:

Veg Cabinet, next 2 rounds coming up in veg, added the 6500k LED Tubes this week for side-lighting:

Breeding Tent (CBD project, hoping to pull a male, collect some pollen, and make some Harlequin BX4 seeds)

Here's what my screen looks like, double-click any section and it goes full screen into that camera, black/white pics are IR shots when they're in the dark period:

...I wish I had seen this before...
Hey Hapo, these LEC's are relatively new, only a handful of folks using the CMH Elite Agro's here and 2 including myself that are documenting grows with them right now. What are you using for lighting?

...LEDS...
They can grow good bud but only the higher end one's (Apache, Area 51's, and DIY Cree 3070 COB's would be the only one's I'd recommend right now) from what I've seen and tried. I ran a thread on one brand of Chinese lights (TopLED/LG reflector panels) early this year that tanked for flowering (2 tries, same grow methodology I'm using now with these lights). I still use them for seedlings, clones and vegging, they're great for that but the lower end and particularly those that use 7-9-11 band "purple" light, seem to lack the ability to flower well. They can flower but it's not worth the time/effort spent imo, I could have bought the weed I grew out with those Chinese LED's cheaper. Good luck with whatever you got (hopefully one of those 3 above), if they don't perform, when you get a chance upgrade and use the LED's for vegging, I like the way they veg, they tend to build a dense plant with tight nodes. Cheers...

....well, I did not buy one of the few you recommend dispite many other recommendations...

...in the face of dire warnings I decided to try the Tall Trees Tree Master Pro , formally marketed as the Super Gro Spectrum King 450...

...this light seems to have the same spectrum and similar intensity to the Apache 120 and does not have fans...

...I like the simple industrial quality of the whatever you want to call'em lights...

...I had tried other LED lights and induction lights...ended up with T5's which the plants liked...

...I would have been able to buy four of those ceramic lights with the money tied up in three TM pro's...

...I am interested in why you think COB lights are good for what we are doing...
Haven't seen or heard of that light, good luck with the run.

There are several grows posted here in the LED section using these Cree COBs, a few getting well beyond 1gpw. It's about efficiency per watt, plus the frostiest buds I've grown have been with LED. Mixing the two is where I'm going next with lights. Those specific Cree 3070 COBs are the one's pulling some nice plants and numbers on their own, mixing that up with these CMH should pull some very nice bud & numbers. Liking these Elite Agro's though, I'm looking at 12-14 zips from a 315w bulb, that's pretty efficient, haven't had to modify any equipment or worry about temps, nothing wrong with that.
