Looking BB, about to get some bud showing up soon :)

Big, DEFINITELY use the 4 for that screen. I'm running the same size screens (39x41) in the big closet. You need to adjust your timing in veg so they all fit and that will throw your perpetual off a hair but but you'll be rolling hard after that

Glad we could help. If you decide to run a scrog, please be sure to check back and let us watch :D

There's also a sticky in the advanced section you should see, regarding scrogging by Woodsman. His method is slightly different but the thread is a treasure trove for folks looking to "do more"

Good Luck and grow em up!!

Hey what's LBH? Like I said before great thread here. I'm following in the Scroggers United thread as well. Love the conversation going on. I wanted to ask you about the "stretch" factor after the switch to 12/12. I included some today pics of my girls and was curious of when to actually make the switch. I know I'm getting pretty close and really want to avoid overcrowding. my tent and screen are 2'7"x2'7".

*I was going to use a constructed frame and string but I had already bought the chicken wire and honestly was just lazy. Next go around I will definitely make that change.*

Here's my grow if you'd like to know any particulars. Thanks.

I really don't have any special tips or info in regards to predicting stretch but there's things you can do to control it a bit. First off, know the genetics you're dealing with. Secondly, .......grow em out and see first hand. I learned by trial and error each run but a big factor is switching them at the right time. A general rule is the plant can double and even triple in size, my plants usually go about double.

You're looking for a balance where you have a carpet of bud but you have air moving in there too.

As for the pics above, I'd say you did great. They should fill out that space nicely but try and stretch your screen out as much as you can, you'll occupy every inch in there.

Good Luck, Grow 'em up!!

Dude that's a great video and one helluva clean setup. PROPS TO YOU especially because you're growing one of my all time favorite strains! PPP is an awesome grow, bulletproof, dank, nice yield. How do your patients like the PPP? Mine ask for it every time lol.

Me too! Lovely fruity aroma with the nute regimen I'm using too. Not necessarily the best meds for pain but I can smoke it and get shit done. I'm too busy for indicas so I try to stick with the sativas, I don't think you'll find one that finishes faster or grows more easily than PPP. I hear you when you say they'll take whatever you run though lol.

ok i have a question that may sound dumb but in my oppinion when it comes to scrog u have to know its methods to a t.... best results come frome the best preperation anyways --- that sounded like a corny motivational speaker . OK when the plant is growing threw the holes and i t gets to be 2-3 inches i know you took it back down now is this threw the next open hole or threw the hole that it popped out of ? also when weaving it threw the screen do you position the bud sites to be in the holes ? all advice is truly appreciated!

-you aim the arms for the blank spaces in the screen so it's the next hole over but it can be in any direction, including diagonally

-Never weave, always pull from below and bring to next hole.

-Yes, bud sites, that's the whole point. ;)

Hey LBH you see these two plants under this screen I have here well I have been giving my grow some thought which is very common with myself and I have been thinking maybe I should have just gone with one plant under the screen I just figured the screen would be easier to fill with two plants however now I am fearing that I will possibly have to much growth now having excess growth along the sides of my screen on the flip side I am thinking that in theory I will just veg less then I would have with one plant flip when 50% of my screen is filled and have no problems... but seeing as this is my first attempt at scrog I really have nothing to base my thoughts off of except for the fact that I have seen others do two plants under a screen what are your thoughts?

All depends what you're looking to get out of it. It's a very small screen, even for 1 plant but remember that filling the screen is all about veg time. Even 1 plant, vegged long enough can fill a 5x5 screen all on it's own. If you flip soon, you'll fill that screen easily. Good luck!!

lbh i just saw your vid of your grow room ... what a beautiful site and im talking about the thought and creativity very nice sir very nice ...i have a ? when people say they wait until the screen is full 50-70% are they saying how much vegetative growth is under the screen i.e. by looking above seeing that its almost covering the screen . and then you switch to 12/12 and as the stretch occurs you start to train them in desired direction.... this is funny i feel like i just answerd my own question but im not sure.... thanx again !

:confused:do or do not to supercrop?
I went the super crop method. You may have seen the haircut I gave my girls at 2 1/2 wks 12/12. The photos are on page 4 I think. When I did this the plants went into shock for a few days, and didn't grow at all. Then they seemed to stop working on buds and spent the next 7 to 10 days just regrowing foliage. It's now 4 wks later and they are completely bounced back, but I think I lost a wk at least in flower time, but I'll have to wait and watch the trich's to see if my flower time is actually longer. Here's a few current shots.

Crop or not I do know that you have to trim off all the sucker stems, with bud sites that will not reach the screen in time for the switch. I got most of mine during the cropping but I see now where I could have taken a few more out.

You sure did,lol

I crop but not after the stretch.

This tutorial is the second part of a two part series who's specific point is to scrog without having to do that to your plant. Using the WHOLE plant and getting those sappers to the screen is the basis to how it works. There's an awesome thread by Woodsman regarding this style/method of scrogging, it's a sticky in the advanced section.
