Have you smoked or grown it before @MustangStudFarm

The Jamaican Pearl from them is doing well, pissed the clones didn't take but glad I have pollen from the male to make f2s when I run it again, probably end of the month. I also have first Lady I might pop in July, maybe June so it can be done by New Years since I believe it's 90% or so sativa.

I wouldn't worry about a few seeds. I would keep them and grow them.
Great idea, one I'm putting to use currently. I'm realizing that although I want to be like the "well known" breeders and have every cross have a beautiful mother and strong father, I might end up with a good cross from hermie beginnings that I can build upon. I'm definitely looking for good parents for my seed making, just not gonna write off other possibilities because they didn't come packaged liked I wanted it.

I definitely don't doubt you @Dr.Pecker

I've been watching alot of documentaries on landrace genetics and most seed banks that may get the actual seeds will cross them and ultimately take away from the original seeds in efforts to make them more "indoor or multi climate friendly". That's why I'm concentrating more on providing the right environment for the plants from beginning to end and hopefully meeting people like @RM3 who have original genetics I can possibly get a chance to grow out and be that much more successful due to experience.

My nephew bought it for about $160 and I dont think that I have ever spent that much on a pack before. I could get 3 packs of Bodhi for $150... Mr. Nice has the same breed of plants as Sensi because Shantibaba used to be a Sensi breeder.

I agree that a strain can only help you so much. I really helps if you have something decent, I dont know if you are happy with what you have. I probably should have asked 1st.

Usually when I see something seed like that, it is not completely the user's fault all of the time... I have exp with both CaliConn and Barney's and there was not much a person could do. I dont know what kind of quality Sensi is pushing these days?

So I'm a little confused but actively observing my ladies. One of the mystery girls appears to be completely seeding up without any noticeable nanners. View attachment 3680014View attachment 3680015

A couple other ladies have a seed here or there but I'm not overly concerned about that. The Pakistan Chitral kush that popped sacs was removed two days ago and is currently drying. No other lady has bananas or sacs and the mystery lady was three plants away from the p.c. kush. Thinking about culling the mystery girl since I don't like how it grew anyways and I have much better genetics available that deserve a chance. Maybe I'll guerilla grow the remaining mystery beans next year and see what happens.

On a better note, the MWS original skunk #1 will be transplanted in about two weeks and flowered in three. Hoping it's a girl, but I'll be cool with a dude. View attachment 3680019

Gotta take the good with the bad!
It just hurts my feelings to see a plant seeded so badly. They stop producing bud and only focus on making seeds. I would think that you would want a stronger parent to make seeds from... I used to think that I was going to make seeds from EVERY pack that I got, it makes things way more difficult and the plants came out very spicy and not desirable. The spicy flavor would coat your mouth, not good lol...

IMO If you want good seeds get breeders packs, they come sealed and tamper resistant. You want blister packs or sealed packages. A matchbook with a vial and cotton shoved in it is unacceptable. Its too easy for those seeds to get swapped out.

I used for order from Herbies. I always opted for the super stealth where they remove the seeds from the breeders pack. I've always gotten the right beans. I'm sure it happens but I wouldn't worry if it is from a trusted seed bank.

I had stealth delivery in a sealed package before. Them saying they need to take it out of the package is a bullshit line and there is another reason for them doing it. My guess is it never was in a breeders pack. This is a good seed pack all of them grew, no deformed seeds, it had a vial sealed in this package 3x3 pack wrapped in a shirt. grow pics 120.jpg

No. It specifically ask when you order do I want them in breeders packs or not. I'm not going into detail but for the super stealth to work they have to be removed from breeders packs.

Some banks may very well buy bulk and they not come in breeders packs. What difference does it make? I've always got what I ordered. All sprouted except a few and those were replaced.

I could see a sketchy bank doing it. You actually expect for someone at the major banks to be swapping seeds? They wouldn't stay in business once word got out.

Lucky you. I've spent at least $500 just at attitude. Out of all that, I had one ten dollar seed that still grows today. I'm about 50% sprout rate with them and they all came in baggies or containers that could be tampered with. My calli connection breeders pack (matchbook plastic container with a piece of tape on it) Had under developed seeds in it. Price you pay I guess for buying souvenirs.

I get replacements if they are bad seeds. You don't tell then they didn't sprout. You tell them they are not collectable and you don't consider them souvenir quality.

If someone was bound and determined to swap seeds, the breeders packs wouldn't stop them unless they came in a vial with tamper tape on it.

Try the vault. Herbies. Both have fresh viable seeds.

MidWeek Song would send me the HSO breeder's pack which was a block of wood! If any seed was removed from a pack, this is the one that I would understand, but they fit 2 of them in a coffee mug along with other packs and freebies. Also, I like the fact that there is no reason to remove Bodhi seeds from the packs, I bet it keeps cost down also. $77 seed packs
