Joe goes organic

Yeah, dude came into the organic section asking about Advanced Nutrients lol... He will be one of those guys that give up because they cant figure it out. Hell, lets throw 9 bottles at a plant in some ProMix probably. I used to run a flood table and I would flush once a week. I have been thinking about getting it back out after 2yrs and doing a side-by-side. But really, I am not that worried about it because I think that my compost is ready to use now! Game on!!!
Fucking funny shit. My first instinct was to comment that didnt he know he was in the wrong section.

FYI, I came here asking about the finish time on his OG Kush since we both obtained the seed from the same place and the stated flower period is way off. I started organic but pH was screwing with me and she looked like a rainbow, all sorts of weird colors on her. looked cool tho. lol. If I can find an affordable pen that does not require calibration... ever, I will go organic again.

Give up? Me? lol, surely you jest. I think I have done a good job for my first grow. and if I would have known my questions would cause all this I never would have asked. Thought we were here to help each other but guess I stepped into a bad neighborhood.

It's actually a pretty peaceful neighborhood here and questions are welcome.

Oh, I get it now. you mean Joe went organic so Joe don't know.
Comments like these tend to cause friction and disturb peaceful neighborhoods.

I've learned to stay away from advising on certain heavily debatable topics and only support grower's choice.

You seem to be doing good so far and I hope you have a good harvest.

lol, ok but i think you misinterpreted my meaning. I did not say you did not know, someone else implied it and i was simply trying to determine what he meant by paraphrasing it.

I won't bother you anymore.

Most of us are here to exchange information and tell a couple of jokes. A vast majority of people that come to this site are "regulars" the other portion are new members. Most new members dont stick around that long and have attitude problems. Some of us feel obligated to raz rude people. Strains should be discussed in the "Seed and Strain" and your questions about flushing your hydro would be in the "Indoor" section. We are talking about manure and compost in this area!

Was not my intention to be rude. Perhaps that is why new people do not stick around long. ask a question and get flamed.
Actually, I think i will try to find a friendlier forum myself after this.
Ya ran me off too.

Again, try the other sections. I promise that I will never be in the "indoor" or "Hydro" section. Really, that is where all of the newbs are. After they get tired of crispy plants, they come here to talk shit lol...

Good God, now I have to explain how i arrived here. If you really must know how i invaded your space, I was browsing and saw that Joe had the same seed from the same place and my original question was not specific to grow medium. As far as the when to flush question, I just forgot where i was. If you guys don't flush, you don't know and if not knowing offends you, I don't know what to say. what i don't know would fill a couple football stadiums.

You're gonna have the last word so go ahead. I am done here. Am not mad, just tired of explaining and defending myself.

flushing is stupid.
pick up a book on botany.
we don't flush, but it sure as shit doesn't mean we don't know.
I don't know what it's like to walk up and kick Jon Jones in his baby-makers, but I sure as shit know that the end result isn't gonna be good.
flushing is scientifically a stupid thing, so there is your answer.

Well I did answer his question about the strain so harden.gif

Funny he mentioned other forums. This is the only forum I'm a member of. After 4/5 months of reading other sites threads and the responses to them, I liked the diversity here the most. I'm glad I learned to accept corrective criticism and respect the fact that everyone is entitled to grow however they choose.

It's unfortunate you're deciding to leave. There's so much knowledge available here and some cool grower's to chat with. Good luck either way.

No need for a pen in organic. A true organic soil buffers pH.

DUDE, you should have seen my dad when he was still playing for the Thunder. He has grey and black hair, so he used shoe polish to make his beard black again! It looked SO fucking horrible, so he went to his favorite bar like that. It was as ugly as this pic is cute lol...

So I checked my worm bin after all the rain and it's booming! IMAG3126_1.jpg

I'm going to get another bin today and start another one since I have plenty of worms, cardboard, leaves, stems, and soon more vegetable scraps. Even the area where I'm plotting my vegetable garden is full of worms. To me, that's a good sign the soil is alive and ready for plants. IMAG3131_1.jpg

I'm thinking about throwing some leaf conditioner on top of the soil for added nutrition before I put the vegetables in the ground.

Got them in the ground right before it started raining steadily. This is a test to see which plants do well here vs another garden plot I have so next year I'll be better prepared for the growing season knowing which garden gets which fruit/vegetable. View attachment 3689023 View attachment 3689024
I have a strong feeling that I will not be able to grow veggies in the open this year. I will probably need fencing or netting of some kind. These guys are f'ing cannibals. Like this forum lol... BBQ chicken anyone?
