Cool. So I'll top dress them in about a week or so which will be around the halfway point. So far, my soil mix seems to be giving them enough nutrients to keep the leaves green and that's good news. I'm currently watering them around once a week and they are doing fine. The other two clones I have of the purple haze will be put in the flowering room in about two or three weeks and both will be pollinated. Feels good to be able to make my own seeds.

So I'll use that aloe plant a few more times to get the brown leaves and then let it regenerate. I'll give it a special tea after I chop it for the last time and hopefully it'll grow nicely. Thanks for the info.

Aloe plants dont really get rootbound that I see. They are literally crammed in a few pots here no issues. Never seen that tbh except right after transplant. But if new growth all ok just pull off those fingers which are dying. My wife says they require stimulation to grow just like other plants so prune back regularly....They use aloe for drinks here, good for the gut, cools stomach down

So I'm a little confused but actively observing my ladies. One of the mystery girls appears to be completely seeding up without any noticeable nanners. IMAG3003_2.jpgIMAG3003_1.jpg

A seed is forming on top of a Hindu kush ladyIMAG3004_1.jpg

A couple other ladies have a seed here or there but I'm not overly concerned about that. The Pakistan Chitral kush that popped sacs was removed two days ago and is currently drying. No other lady has bananas or sacs and the mystery lady was three plants away from the p.c. kush. Thinking about culling the mystery girl since I don't like how it grew anyways and I have much better genetics available that deserve a chance. Maybe I'll guerilla grow the remaining mystery beans next year and see what happens.

On a better note, the MWS original skunk #1 will be transplanted in about two weeks and flowered in three. Hoping it's a girl, but I'll be cool with a dude. IMAG3019_1.jpg

That's too bad about the seed infiltration it must have been the Pakistan Chitral kush and if it was the crosses sound a little exciting. Man joe I wish I had your energy I am such a lazy gardener by comparison.

Upon further inspection, it has been determined that the fluffy, untopped Hindu kush lady has popped a couple nanners which I believe is the culpritIMAG3043_2.jpg

Also caught the og kush about to nannerIMAG3033_2.jpg IMAG3033_1.jpg

Since the flower room is staggered, it's not to bad. The Hindu and og kush have been chopped. No rest for the weary.

Joe what will you do with those under finished buds? I just lost my tru blue to root rot, she isn't dead yet but I doubt she will make it. As you said no rest for the weary. I wish I could get some of the OG Kush pollen you have there I am trying to hermie one right now with homemade and extremely very strong collidal silver but she is being stubborn just flowering normally.

I'll use the underdeveloped buds for hash, keif, or baked goods.

My other concern is I have three clones of the Hindu kush and I'm not sure which pheno is the "fluffy bandits" offspring, although two are the same pheno so that helps. I took the cuts end of veg and the plants were pretty similar at that point so I learned the hard way to now label the individual plant's clones as well. The one I chose to be a mom is hopefully the good pheno. Since this discovery, plans have changed. The two similar clones will be transplanted tomorrow and flowered out the following week so I can see how they develop. One is topped and one is untouched so that helps me see if that makes a difference, only because my other Hindu kush that I topped developed very nicely. With my unfortunate nanner issue, it's made room for more plants so I guess I'll consider that my "bright side"! :weed:

Hope you get the og to seed for you, I like this strain. Hopefully I'll get closer to the original soon.

My og did the same thing I threw it out.

Look for light leaks. It is easily overlooked and is a big reason for herms.

I'll do that in my new room tomorrow night. I'll go in around midnight and spend about 3-5 minutes looking around. That should give my eyes time to adjust and easily spot light. Thanks for the tip.

I'm hooking up the fan and carbon filter tomorrow. View attachment 3682013 View attachment 3682014 View attachment 3682015
I actually learned about it while watching Swerve defending his CaliConn gear lol... He would basically say that people didnt know how to grow and their grow room should say "Play-Skool"
on the side. He said that his stuff was very light sensitive...

I am not saying that it is your fault. I still get strains that like to pop a little pollen. You just have to watch out and not clone off of them. I didnt see what seed breeder you are using? Stop by the Bodhi thread sometime. His seed packs are $77 and you can find buy 2 get 1 pack free. Goji is a popular strawberry flavored OG. Dont mean to step on your toes or anything.

I was warned by Vostok to keep an eye on my bubblegum so I'm aware some strains have a higher tendency to pop nanners than others and I also agree that a consistent light leak could cause extra stress by confusing the plants hormonal signals. Therefore I'm going to take as many precautions as I can before I move the ladies into their official home.

When I first started growing @Hawoodrose I realized there was an overload of information on how to grow, but also differing opinions on the techniques and styles of growing. I decided to try things before I dismiss them since everyone is different and so are their results and some people are just never gonna try anything other than what they know so they'll write off any other ideas as nonsense or having no purpose at all. I want to have a factual and experience based reason why I choose not to do things when someone asks me.

Thanks for checking me out.

Well put Joe, and if you do make a fuck up while experimenting, there's nothing like a mistake to teach you a lasting lesson.
