OK, I am scraping the vape and going back to the bong!! With a good bong this green stuff actually is smooth and it taste good!!

Yeah, plants look more than deficient, as if they were suffering from over/under watering.. I see you're on this before harvest flushing hype, but you might want to look how to grow happy plant till the harvest instead. Better high, better yield. And smokes just as good. If you're about a taste and smoothness,IMO you should be looking into proper curing instead, not flushing

Yeah, you're right in a way. The plants became like that because I was away for easter break, and my girlfriend stayed and looked over them.
And then I came back and had to leave again for one more week, so then it was harvest time, and they did look pretty battered. She did an okay job of keeping them alive though! haahaha
The harvest was pretty nice and easy, and the buds look far better than anything I've grown before. Much more dense, and heavy.
Too bad I only did 2 plants this time around I wish more of those inicial seeds had popped. I would have SOME BOUNTY now =P.
Anyway, I'm aiming at about an ounce. Maybe a touch more, but I don't think it'll be much more than that.
They smell insane. Specially that Devil'Stack. I'm so anxious to have a test smoke off it. I'm excited to have finally grown a nice bud with Devil's Weed seeds from my home place. I hope it's as awesome as I remember, although now it has the Sleestack part to it.
I love Sleestack very much, so if the effects of both get combined it should be pretty bomb.
Here's the final yield pic:

It's not much. But you have to keep in mind this is the result of a 150w, 12/12 FROM SEED grow. So all in all. I'd call it a success.
Of course this will only be confirmed once everything is dry and weighed in!
I wonder what I'll grow next!

Never run anything lemon or amnesia. I have smoked amnesia haze in Amsterdam though. Shit was really really awesome. Even with no cure. Damn stuff wasn't even all the way dry. It was during the cup a few years back, so I'm sure it's hard for the city to keep up with demand during that week.
I've wanted to run it but the seeds from soma are expensive, and the flower time is like 16 weeks or something. And now I've got my hands full running a bunch of strains for 'work' for the foreseeable future, so I will have to live vicariously through Jad3. If I'm lucky I might get to smoke some of his when it's done.

What Up Jad3!!!
I just got an Ascent vape. I have to say... I like my pipe, bong and joints better. It is hard to get used to a vape I think. I feel like I have to smoke and smoke and smoke. Have you switched over completely or do you still go back and forth? I know I'll use it for sure when I am sick and probably with oils when I have them.

Oh no no, I love myself some DENSE cloudy smoke! haha
I love my vape for lighter smoking though. Just for smooth chilling and being able to do stuff.
I'd rank my preference like this:
- Bong
- Joint
- Waterfall Bong
- Pipe
- Vape
- Edibles
So yeah =P
As for my weed, I already smoked some semi-dry herb from both, and let me tell you I'm already in love with them haha I can't wait to have them cure for 2 weeks before I make a nice smoke report on them!

Hey Jad!. I'm glad you got some good looking nugs this time around! I recently got a good tall glass bong with bubblers, place for ice..etc and WOW!, now I can take 1 or 2 heavy hits without a coughing fit afterwords so this is now my favorite. Actually I like to take a teaspoon of CocoCanna 30-40 minutes before the bong... yummmm!!!
I just harvested my mess. I always end up growing a lot more than I can use so this time I just took the tops and will use the rest for cooking to save doing all the trimming.
This is Cotton Candy I just cut today. I decided to just FIM the top of the main cola on it. Then a few days later it got away from me and grew into the light. It looked terrible for a while but this was the huge cola mass I ended up with. (It is hanging upside down)

SO, I've been smoking my herbs and I think it's about time I made a report.
Before I put them into jars the buds where a near crisp dry, the stems didn't crack, but had a nice dry bend to them. Just like I like it.
Since then I've been burping the jars every 2 days, and emptying/re-filling the jars every week, as to cycle the air exposure better.
As you open each jar you get their nice pungent smells greeting your nose. The Devil'Stack has this nice deep, sweet, medicine smell to it. While the Amnesia Lemon has much more of a citrus smell, still very sweet and sticky, almost piney, but not quite.
This gets amplified ten fold when you pick a bud and handle it with your fingers. The smell just bursts out, and both of them leave your fingers in a sticky smelly state that I had never achieved before. I love it.
As for burning, the material creates a lasting ember, also something I hadn't been able to do before. After I light them on a pipe or a bong, they create ember clumps that just keep on letting off this heavy slow smoke. It's not a uniform burn, but it's a long lasting one on those resinous clumps.
Smoking the Amnesia Lemon is a delight in itself, the smoke is smooth and doesn't make me cough at all. My girlfriend has cough atacks with both of them though haha. The Devil'Stack is even better, it has these comforting tokes that wash the inside of your mouth with a subtle resinous sweetness. Both make for some chill toking sessions. And the smell and taste characteristics are magnified when using the Vape.
The Amnesia is pretty fast hitting. It's more of a cerebral hit. Creeps in quite unnoticed and then all of a sudden you're just flying somewhere else. It's GREAT for receiving stimuli like watching a movie or playing games. It makes everything more intense and bold. Although it does make it easy to fall into a little of a panicked state. If one is not capable of controlling his mindset or his "consciousness control" while high it might be easy to get anxious, specially after a strong hit like the one from a Waterfall-Bong.
The Devil'Stack is a friendlier experience. It leans heavier on the indica side, making for a heavier and calmer ambiance. It installs itself mostly in the body, not quite creating a couch-lock effect but a rather extremely relaxed musculature. It makes for what I call a "Perfect World" experience. Makes you just kick back and enjoy the ride. Watching movies isn't as great because it luls you into a very comfy deep sleep quite easily. But music and eating are something that make me reach a very near sublime state... Very nice indeed.
So while they didn't output the yield I'd love, they did output the quality. They actually surprised me in the end. I'm very happy that I chose these strains since they balance each other rather nicely. I'm quite sad that I only have a jar of each =P
Best quality herb I've cultivated so far.
From all the weed I've smoked I'd rate these:
Amnesia Lemon - 7/10
Devil'Stack - 8/10

Sadly SDS went through a rough divorce thingy, and we kinda fell out. I tried keeping in touch but he didn't seem too keen. So I decided to not be so pushy.
Anyway, I'm still looking forward to growing with COB leds... I hope I get the opportunity soon.
Actually I'd love to do it this time around... I guess I'll be sowing seeds on the 1st of July... So in a few days. Gotta get looking into lights! damn! =P
