My a51 at 155 watts matches a 400w hps in an intenisty. Roughly 500-600 watts of quality led will match a 1000w.

a lux meter is irrelevant. It measures lumens. Not par. You want a par meter

Par does not measure intensity, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photosynthetically_active_radiation it measures how much active photons are there or it measures PAR. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lux that's an intensity measurement.

Lumens - visible light to the human eye - intensities adjusted to the human photopic luminosity function. They have little bearing on how a plant will respond to the intensities being emitted in visual regions.
Par - Measures light intensity for plants but not photon count

For sure they're better for veg, as they have separate white and red o/o toggles
BML doesn't. Red being on throughout reveg causes too much stretch, at least for sats

It looks like your plants have a bit of a Magnesium deficiency. I've seen that same look in my garden which is aero using ro water.. Those yellowing leaves are a pretty clear indicator. Maybe time for some calmag. I have noticed that as I increased the intensity of my lighting I also needed to increase the calmag and I also add a in about 50ppm epsom salt to the nutrient reservior for a bit more magnesium.

If you look farther back in the nursery, you will see nice normal green healthy plants, as well as Big Baby on the left.
Both tote/trays are feeding from the same rez at the same time
The 4 in front left suffered from not having long enough roots to slurp nutrients once I put them in the air pots and into the nursery tote, which due to being wider, the nutes simply weren't getting up high enough to feed the much shorter root structure.
I also moved them to that spot, as that is where the nutes flood into the tote
I waited too long to remove them from the APs. When I did, there were only a few dried out roots in each, barely keeping them alive. If I had not been top feeding a couple times a day, they would likely have died
They now sit directly on the bottom, getting plenty of nutes/water every 30 minutes.
They have perked up quite a bit already

The 3 plants that weren't getting adequate watering are bouncing back nicely
I cleaned the tote as there was some algae building up
Wednesday's pics should be clear evidence that this was not a nutrient deficiency,
They simply were not getting fed as the riser was too tall for this totes volume, so nutes were not getting up high enough for proper feedings PLUS the intensity

I effectively raised CaMg by increasing ppm to~ 500
The 3 that took the hit are recovering quite nicely, though well behind in development
My new tent finally arrived
I will set it up and with 2 Solar Spec 150s (look for new thread) continue to veg the plants not kept under the 260
The reveg under te BML SPYDR is ~ 2 weeks from harvest
Once it's down, I will take one of the 2 plants from the 260 and begin the side by side comparison

Finally but for how long before Uploader disappears again?
Received new tent. Will air it out and hook it up Saturday
Then will move most to the new tent under 2 @ 150 Solar Specs, which should be great for a 32 x 32 or 2 x 4

The babies are really looking good since changing nutes and effectively raising the lights
Not sure when I can begin lowering the 260 but I can't raise it and the plants are growing
I cannot find 2 magnifying glasses somewhere in my house, to check for sex, but do have a jewelers magnifier
Alas, it looks like the plant on the left is one super bushy male
Could be a couple tall females among the babies, a sign of BM pheno

I am so excited by how fast they are growing, and how well they are doing under a much lowered light to canopy
As you can see the panel is < 10" from the tips of the 2 tallest plants (in the back), which I am hoping are 2 Big Mex females
5 days of steady rain has prevented me from properly airing out my new tent, but it's going to be dry for a few days, so by tomorrow I will erect the new tent and move the shorter plants (likely BBCC) under the 2 x SS 150s
Between the reveg and the solo plant I have more than enough BBCC, so might just compost them and start a new strain. Critical Mass anyone?
Note how full the solo plant is. Now I did Fim her (most likely), and her 2 top shoots are nice and thick. Just don't yet know whether she's a BBCC or a BM, though likely the former
