I did contact them a few days ago (see my previous post in this thread). He made no mention of any discounts. As a consumer, I shouldn't have to be part of a "family" to receive a fair price from a manufacturer. That just reads to me that they are taking advantage of anyone who purchases directly from their website without inquiring about a discount. I've had conversations with Tasty as well, and their price is their best price...period. No need to be part of a family to receive their best price. And unlike Amare, Tasty uses 3590's. Your post states that Amare uses 3590's in their Pro 7 and 9, which I still can't find on their website, but does not state that they are using them in the SE-450. Yes, your post does help me. Helps ensure that I made a good decision to go with Tasty over Amare.
Maybe because it's a 4-20 sale. It's 5-5 last I checked so the sale is probably over. As far as the family part goes it's just nice to have someone so nice and helpful answer questions honestly and promptly. Dollar for dollar I believe you get much more product with Amare, better warranty and better Customer service. Even down to where I offered more money to divide my shipment for a faster arrival, his reply was it's not about the money and next day I received a shipping notification. Can't beat it

I promised myself I would t reply anymore. But I can't help it. Dude you sound like suck a dick. Obviously you may know more about lights as the owner of a light company but why the attitude. Every time you comment makes me happier and happier I chose Amare. Fuck your lights and fuck your attitude. Same one I got when I asked for multiple light offers. Which was not mentioned in your reply but mentioned here.
What doesn't this guy understand... Victor said any place anytime.... He would do it...

You have called out my lights with false info. You can talk about amare all you want, show you grow...whatever. But when you falsely say thing about a light you have no experience with and also clearly didn't look much into, leave it be. You are the only one looking and acting poorly. So keep trying to bad mouth others to justify your own purchase. But the facts are facts and they stand.

PLC offers bulk light discounts so stop lying about that too. If you don't fall into multiple, that's not the same as not offering. So please do share what they told you. They have nothing to hide.
What did I say that was false. I went to your website which said 725 out of stock with higher shipping. When I emailed No bulk discount was mentioned

Well send me a light ( I promise to return it). I will run a side by side test... Same plants, same nutes, same environment. I will even journal it all with a weekly update.... As the saying goes "put your money where your mouth is" .

You said there is no bulk discount. There is and always has been. The 420 sale was the commercial bulk price break for anyone.
So again...WHAT DID YOU ASK?

As well as you arguing about 420 pricing...which again you got wrong, was 650, and now is regularly(no sales, anyone off the street) $725(and if a customer emailed first or is on here or YT, could get a code for even less)

When you claim to be emailing would have been the 420 sale, and would have been 650 or under.

So what did you ask. Pull the email.

How much did you get off from "buying bulk" on top of the 420 sale from amare?

Well send me a light ( I promise to return it). I will run a side by side test... Same plants, same nutes, same environment. I will even journal it all with a weekly update.... As the saying goes "put your money where your mouth is" .
I already said...if you have a sphere I will send a light. So you have an integrating sphere?

You need to contact Amare Technologies.... Once you talk to them you will understand what the "family' is all about. Where did I get the discount code from? Right from the CEO (Victor). I have the SE-450 GEN 2 sitting in its box right now waiting for it to be hung. As for their website it suppose to be in the process of being updated. Hope this helps...
What's gen2?

3 Amare se450 for 801$ each with 100$ Total shipping, with Plc I would need 4 for the same coverage. I just purchased the Amare last week at this price. Before I purchased anything I checked and your price is 725. times 4 lights for my coverage area and higher shipping. You are also out of stock. There is no lies. People were comparing your sale price to Amare msrp so I tried to settle others lies.

You just lied about everything...backpedal much??? The cx300 went down to $725 april 30th. Though out of stock right after 420, the 420 pricing you keep arguing about stayed up till the MSRP change...and was well after you guys started this argument and brought PLC into it on RIU. RIU is chronological if you didn't notice...date stamps everywhere.
Thanks to the reviews I just bought 3. Love it here, u guys rock

So did you email and ask about multiple lights or are you lying about that? Pull the emails to show? I don't delete mine if you deleted yours?
How much was shipping?

Sorry, I can't agree with you on that statement sir. I have run 400, 600 & 1000 HPS systems and I know from personal experience . I just completed grow using a SS-260 and a SE-220 and I netted .59 lbs off of them (bud only). A normal yield on a 400 HPS is about 8 oz or .5 lb. So I was right on par with my HPS grow with a lot less heat.

Here is a good video...
...

It really goes in depth...
I don't run any AC at all hahahahaha and I get a lb off 400watts of CXB3590 all day cool video I like how he equated about the AC use with HPS

"Where Am I" made his post today, which sounds like he received his e-mail from Amare recently. As in maybe yesterday or today. And if it was a 4-20 sale, then "Where Am I" needs to change his numbers to reflect the current price. Although "Where Am I" insinuates that all you need to do is be "part of the family" and ask for the discount, so it sounds like it's not a 4-20 sale.

As for you stating that it's nice to have someone so helpful to answer your questions honestly and promptly, check my first post in this thread. He did not answer all of my questions. With Tasty, I didn't even have to ask, it's posted on the site.

With the information provided by amare one cannot make the comparison that 4 plc units is needed to cover the same area as 3 amare units. Comparing raw watts at the plug without knowing the efficiency of the unit is a flawed comparison.

AFAIK the plc cx300 is currently the most efficient unit on the market. Higher efficiency than the new fluence units. Tasty is very close.

I'd like to suggest a couple things here. Perhaps the guys using Amares could start an Amare thread where their lights can be discussed in detail.

Then someone can setup another thread where everyone can fight about what lights are better, cheaper, more efficient...or whatever.

I feel like anyone new to LEDs that is coming to this thread and reading the last few pages is going to leave discouraged and bewildered.

Peace

i have absolutely no reason to lie. Tbh I am new to the whole cob lighting industry. I emailed you and asked if there was any bulk discount orders. My reply was . Already on sale. That's all nothing more

Lmao!! Look at your own website you dumb shit. It's 725 and out of stock. I really hope for the sake of your customers your lights aren't filled with as much bullshit as you are.

I came Here to mention my 3 new se-450 and how I was thrilled with what great lights they seem to be.

As for coverage the Amare is stated to cover a 4x4 the cx300 is stated for a 3x3 my space is 4x12 3 vs 4. Regardless I'm still thrilled and I hope many others will join me. My only bitch is there isn't enough info directly available on the web. Granted Victor is quick to reply it shouldn't have to be the case. He assured me changes would be made soon

and after all that amare still ignores efficiency.
From looking at my plants almost done, I'd say it's pretty darn efficient. Looks like well over a pound off my 450 w/ very minimal cooling & fans. I'd say it performed equal to 900w of HPS then add the cooling & fans & we're up to about 1150 w. So about a 500 w savings a day giving me an equal weight & higher quality med. Not to mention it's simple math based on the numbers provided already. I agree though, the info should be posted.

Oh! I would be happy to do a comparison grow if anyone's interested. Just did one & would like to do a much nicer one next time. I'm getting 2 of the new Amare SES-300's & would be happy to put them up against anything w/ dead even parameters, plants n everything. Totally unbiased of course as I really like all the lights that could & should be used in such comparison. I believe there will be similiar results & would be happy to keep the lesser yielding light whichever it is as long as I'm satisfied with the company & product. For real, next grow starts Soon for the LED room. We can use the Hydroponics Hut light as an RQE Burple comparison to both quality white lights. Anyone? I'll purchase the lights, all I ask is to match the price i get from Amare for their 2 , 300 watt models. Thank you!

CXB3070s @ 50 watts each? That's a sweet spot, and the lights are a great deal, but not the most efficient.

i'm not talking about a diy unit, is there another unit currently on the market that does better than that ?
What a coincidence, I was also not talking about DIY.

I'm no expert on all the current cob makers, but it appears Tasty and Johnson are using CXB3590s. Even the 2.1A Tasty leds would be about as efficient as a 3070 run at 1.4A, let alone 1750ma or 1400ma models.
