Care to tell me who the breeder is? Ive got some Afropips Durban Poison seeds waiting to be planted. Id love to follow your DP grow if possible.
I wish I knew...it's an amazing looking plant compared to most of the stuff ive grown, it grows tall quick with very robust leaves, I had just cut a handful of clones from it and it shot new growth REAL quick...also the clones never skipped a beat and rooted quick

I'm gonna try to get some pics up tonight!

Ok, first off, I wasn't addressing you, but since you were compelled to respond I'll play along. I get why people like purple buds. I was simply making a humorous statement in response to Uncle Ben's statement. I'm with you on the quality thing. I want dank nugs, period! Bag appeal is important to me but I find it interesting to see all of these threads with people actually trying to get their buds to turn pruple. I saw one the other day with somebody telling some noob to water with ice water the last 2 weeks! Yikes!:o I try my best not to stress my plants, but that's just me. My focus is to keep things as simple as possible and to mimic nature as best I can. In return I harvest some pretty damn good weed. I grow blueberry so I get purple buds but not because I drop my night time temps or use some color enhancer. When they dry and cure the purple is hardly noticeable anyway so I never really understood the fascination I guess. :?
I wasnt trying to be an asshole my friend. I was simply making a statement... that's all. I'm the same way.. I keep things simple. All these "noobs" seem to make things harder than they really are. Growing isn't rocket science.. in fact 90% of growing is just common sense. But, yet.. people still ask questions that, if they only had a lick of sense.. they could answer it themselves and wouldn't need to ask the question to begin with. In a nutshell, it seems like you see more and more users around here asking 'common sense' or 'common knowledge' questions.. that they should have learned at the very beginning of their growing adventures. But yeah, no hard feelings man... nothing personal.

Lastly, new growers.. should take it slow and make sure that they learn the basics before they attempt to grow their first plant IMO. It's like, they read one article about growing.. and suddenly their experts? Not hardly. I've been growing for over 5 years now.. and I still learn new things.. and I also time to time, ask questions myself. But yeah, my advice to the new growers.. is to read as much as you can about the basics of growing cannabis.. and not worry about all these "Advanced growing techniques". Which is one of the problems IMO, people start forgetting about the basics of growing cannabis.. and start trying all these "Advanced growing techniques".. and that's where they start running into problems with their plant(s)... and then they wonder why they're having the problems. You are your worst enemy when that happens.. so again.. I can't stress the importance of remembering the basics of growing cannabis.. and keeping things simple.

The more simple you keep things, the less problems you'll have/create... the better the end results will be IMO.

peace.

budd pinching. ever heard of?? also top your plants. super cropping. and also cloning budds. you can also cut the stalk of your plant and use masking tape and tape a budd on to the stalk and it will grow to the stalk and the budd will start to grow. get huge budd.
Thats the most hilarious thing ive ever read

This forum is designed to hopefully be a quick simple read, for additional tips and tricks on how to produce the largest most dense buds, with of course quality being first and foremost!

Personally, I've incorporated the use of humboldt countys own Gravity, Bushmaster, and Snowstorm, which have drastically increased my yields!

I can go into detail if anyones interested, hopfully I can learn something too!

Gravity and bushmaster both have Paclobutrazol as their main ingredient, which are proven to cause cancer. Yes they both pack on bigger buds, but medicine should never be grown with carcinogens period. Just some food for thought. I talked to the owner and got my money back.

Yep, and thats not the only PGR they use in those products.

PGRs are only to be used for ornamentals that are not for human consumption...anyone who uses Gravity or Bushmaster is adding a known persistent toxin to their smoke.

Hope they enjoy their next toke after reading that ;)

get a high yielding sativa dom hybrid... veg long under intense light and low stress train her with lots of topping.... keep the lights has close has you can and get some proper nutes...then flower under intense lighting... you should get some pretty heavy yeilds this way... but im more of a quality over yield!!! the real dank ass strains just dont yield has much unless you veg a very long time

just make sure you give her a proper pot size. 5 gallon? joke. get a 20 gallon tub, mix the topping and long veg, result? monster.
