get a humidifier with a built in humidity sensor, set the humidity where you want it to be, fill the water tank and walk away, the machine will turn on and off to keep the RH right where you want it. simple is always better.

ok I got a small ultrasonic humidifier, with it running in there, in about 30 mins it has taking the rh of the room up 2% from 25 to 27%, my question here is this: how long do you think it'll take to get the rh up to the desired level ? over night ? just a few hours ?

I have no clue how long it will take haha
if you have a larger area (like a separate room with at least 340 cu ft of airspace)with low rh and low temps, I found a wet (1/3 wrung out) towel over

at 600w low-medium temp next to a fan but more than 3 ft from the plants can bring rh to 60-70% from 35-40% in ~2 hours. if you run it continuously be sure to vent or suffer molds.
if you can do this for 2 hours though, i recommend it to get to 60%, then run your humidifier as a stabilizer.but if temps naturally are fine just use the humidifier. be careful as humidifiers are known to cause/spread molds.

the area im growing in is only 16 sq ft. I bought a small personal humidifier, and my tent is vented

cu ft is l x w x h. tbh id still recommend steam/evap methods, shallow trays with large surface of boiled water are one easy way.

yeah my cubic feet is 32 sq footage is 16. so with that I dont need much to bring up rh... since I sent the msg about it coming up to 27% I check just now andbits already up to 32%

so in the elapsed time so far, I feel that what I got is sufficient. if it turns out I need more ill either just buy 1 more of those or get a larger one. I feel though as it stands, im in good shape as long as I fill the tank once per 10-15 hours.

all plants are diferent, some seeds pop ,grow rapidly and are mature in a month, others 2 months to mature..i had a seed that was only on its 3rd set of leaves and 2 inches tall at a month old then boom, it shot up to 1 and 1/2 feet in 2 more weeks..wright now i have 2 bcsc nl5's that are a month old and are just getting their first set of true leaves...i was about to throw them away i thought they were mutated or stunted, gave them another week and now they are finally getting true leaves...they still have me worried, such slow growth makes me wonder if its bad genetics? ill just keep grwing them as i really want to try the nl5

well I noticed the other day thatmy seedlings have a long root already, made it out of the seed plug which is why they're in rockwool so I believe they srr just focusing on root growth first, as some do that. on a side not, the humidifier has seemed to plateau at 31% so I will be purchasing another and returning that one, gonna go with a larger one this time meant for 250 sq ft

thats true strain wise. i think your environments is just way wack though. maybe light distance is to far (or close if HID's) combined with low rh? saying one seed or even 10 from one room is a fine example of how the strain is is ridiculous. no strains are that slow given female friendly conditions. you know ~7500 lumens per plant min during veg, 10000+ lumens per plant in flower. perfect temp will fall within 67-84F so start at 72-75F with 50-70%h
Your plants are slow like underlit cardboard box + tinfoil stealth cfl grows. Speed doesn't really matter till flower, but damn one month, first set... you growing in straight clay (will slow to same speed) or something dumb like that. The first set of leaves for any (healthy) specimen of cannabis should show from day 1-5 and be well into starting its second true set by day 7. 5 finger leaves at least starting by day 14. happens with EVERY seed ive tried.

but your messing with 16*height cu ft of space. square ft only denotes floor area............... And yes if you give a seedlings roots a really good medium they spend a lot of time on the roots. Theyll fill out a 1 gallon fabric pot with 50%soil 50%perlite to "rootbound" by day 35-45

yeah, I feel that tomorrow when I get a better humidifier and the rh becomes higher, the plants will be in much better shape... for now im gonns let this small one run all night, a little bit higher rh is better then keeping it low

are you using a filter ? Humidifier vs carbon filter can sometimes make them not last very long ?

I find the best way in increase humidity is to simply plant more plants :)
