How do cops find marijuana with helicopters?

Its because I suspect those photos are all false. I know flir reasonably well and the reality in NZ anyway is that they don't use it to catch weed growers. Its not worth the expense to run a chopper, then that's not enough evidence to search, so an investigation has to start, so your talking serious money and man power being invested for a small grow. Just makes no sense and any cop will tell you the same thing.

I cant imagine any other country would be much different.

Flir is generally used to chase baddies down or missing people in the bush /sea etc.
Although you can speak well of your countries methods of canna capture,

I ask you keep an open mind when replying to members threads from other locations

I can assure you from where I'm at its open war, on choppers from indoor and out door growers

I posted this FLIR stuff to my blog, cause of repeated threads on this same subject, and can assure you and the membership

the content of my FLIR article is true and correct, but admit its a little outdated

black and white photos are long gone and its now in glorious color

'Have I ever in my 40 plus years of growing ever had a grow room above 40C ....sure did

thanks for your imput

Hell yeah, black and white images are long gone. The new tech is nice.

I totally appreciate there will be the odd country that will do it and even alot of countries law enforcement agencies around the world will get a local paper to do an "article" on it, to put the wind up people.

no but spent time in Auz, with kiwi girl ...lol
Haha classic. I just wondered as you grabbed a kiwi airfoece page. Any kiwi knows that our airforce sucks lol. We probably only have one nh90 operational, we have no jets and couldn't defend ourselves from any foreign invasion. Our army on the other hand, while small is a force to reckon with and we don't do any of that gay hazing shit!!

But your right about the nh90 being a nice chopper. I'll take one of them over a blackhawk any day.

I was just taking a crack at the UK army boys. There into that shit.

Im sure there's a few fags in the army. Fuck you spend six months in the bush, take a wig for the kitchen bitch......just kidding, id rather use Mrs palmers. Hahaha

ps: I think that we should consider that us the membership, come from many different countries, different bullshit laws, but swim in one direction with one common cause ..lol

^ that.

We really are all on the same team despite our differences. Its us against them.

Police seem to find grow ops from You opening your mouth and telling a "Friend". In turn that friend tells friends and so. Eventually one friend tells the pigs. Keep your mouth quiet and you shouldnt have a problem. The police would never know shit if it wasnt for snitches.

Pretty much spot on!

Safety Concerns

1 - SNITCHES ( keep your mouth shut / tell no one )

2 - SUSPICIOUS behaviour and bad waste management. No 5 minute visitors or getting baked and causing a ruckus around your grow.

3 - SMELL ( Odour control )

I have never tripped out about helicopters, indoor grows that are exhausted correctly shouldn't really have any issues with choppers.

House grows i totally get with choppers and flir but 600w in a tent in a concrete building away from the windows with a decent roof id say is pretty safe. Ive witnessed people busted for small grows because they were exhausting a jet of hot air from the side of the house and the police flagged that and investigated.

What are your thoughts here?

I agree, the OP did post, about having a grow outdoors,

then the thread digressed, I'm guilty.. buts that riu for you

as I posted earlier this FLIR thing is way outdated now that in most locales weed is legal,

and kiwiP does have a point of the cost of capturing these occasional growers,

I'm posting to remind young and old not to slack out, tho to be caught by FLIR is rare,

its loose lips, and bitchy 'friends' that sink ships

good luck

You are all wrong! when the heli pilots (once they get at a certain height) look down. they can only find them when when they enter their veg cycle. at a certain height the MJ plants appear to be a blueish color. they cant see them if there is a small plot like 3 or 4 or if they are spread across a vast area. it is when you group them together in rows about a foot apart will they be found. just keep your plants about 20 foot apart over a vast area and you have nothing to worry about. trust me i went on a heli ride with a teacher of mine who used to be a narc cop.
