High cbd strain

Long time lurker, first time poster...

I don't live in a med state, so I can't speak on hyped clones. But I don't know of any other seed companies offering guaranteed cbd rich lines. CBD crew says they will have a minimum of 4% cbd with a 1:1 ratio, but most are tested at higher %s than that. With any strain selection is important, hermies should be culled and winners should be tested and propagated. Also check out SOHUM seeds, but they are going to need even tougher selection to find a cbd rich plant.

interesting thread I missed -taking the time- to explore. glad this was bumped. sadly my cannatonic #4 was gone from my garden by then. Huel's cannatonic -x looks amazing! I know for sure the #4 has an incredible taste. there's no reason these two cuts shouldn't become widely available locally this fall. (hint, hint)

Pretty funny / sad how that seed company in the video is marketing "CBD" seeds but they've never done any testing to see if they can produce any significant amount of cbd...

Abe, I've tried responding to your PM several times now and when I hit submit message it takes me to some "cloudfare" site where it wants me to authenticate the words I see on the screen as some type of security measure I guess??? Then when I go back to the inbox after doing this and hit submit message again it takes me back to that site. wtf?? I have no problem pm'ing anyone else so I'm not sure what's up here.

I just saw test results of a pheno of Alien Grenades (SoCal Master Kush x Tahoe Alien) by Alien Genetics come back at:

CBD-a 14.37
THC -a 9.89

for a total of 24.33

I cracked two packs of her, I will be getting all of my females tested I guess. I don't know how rare that pheno is but,
it would be cool if I found one.

Sorry but that just isn't the case...

AC/DC is really Cannatonic. Its just a super high CBD pheno of Cannatonic from Resin Seeds, no more, no less... It isn't crossed with anything, just a lucky Cannatonic plant grown from a Cannatonic seed. It kind of bothers me when someone grows a seed from a well known breeder and gets remarkable pheno so they think they get the right to rename it altogether name.... Sorry, for venting...

The cut of that particular pheno is floating around Cali and spreading further by the day i assume.

What Bodhi is doing is breeding that particular Cannatonic cut (ac/dc) with Harlequin which is a stable 1:1ish CBD strain, and i assuming doing a bunch of back crossing with one or the other. Props to Bodhi for doing some real deal breeding!

There is another f1 cut floating around our great lakes state with a very similar cannabinoid profile called StarTonic. Its a cross of the wonderful ultra high CBD pheno of Cannatonic and the clone only Deathstar. It tested at 8.77% THC and 14.39% CBD, and 25.55% total cannabinoids!!!

AC/DC is already a cbd rich clone w/ a 19:1 ratio. From what I read Bodhi bred harlequin to an appalachia f1 male and called that "good medicine" he then is breeding a male of that to the ac/dc clone. I don't think he got as many cbd rich plants out of good medicine as he had hoped. Here is a quote from bodhi about it:

strangely enough the cbd rich trait seems to pass mostly through the males with 2/3 of the males being cbd rich, on the female side only about 20% are cbd rich.


i took a tested high cbd rich female and three cbd rich males to make the f2's, this should bump up presence of the cbd rich trait in the f2's. the f2's are almost done and ill get those tested (if i dont go broke from lab fee's...lol) and we will see how effective selecting for cbd breeding is.

the good medicine plant itself is beautiful with a soft peach chem spice smell, like a peach pastry, also very solid and a good yielder.

i used the extra cbd x 3 rich pollen to make a harlequin bx, a cbd rich og, and herijuana x good medicine, ac/dc x good medicine, and omrita rx x good medicine. these will most likely be released as freebies.

CBD yummy is also testing high as well one guy had a 1:1 with 26.5 total....
