Recently, Health Canada reported that less than 18,000 people bought from licenced producers in the month of August. http://www.msn.com/en-ca/money/topstories/canadian-bankers-still-view-marijuana-businesses-with-caution/ar-AAfNrDW?li=AA54rW&ocid=mailsignout
So much for the Cons projected 500,000 people in 10 years from the new program. Old program had almost 50,000 patients and new program only 18,000 people, and in that month the average grams purchase per patient was roughly 33 grams. hahahaha what a joke, that right there is what the kids call an Epic Fail!!

Maybe if the greedy fuckers were not charging 2-3x normal cost it wouldn't be so bad for the poor little lps.

Can someone properly word a letter that would request the break down by LP and how are the 18K user calculated is it 18K of actuaal unique users purchasing on a noral basis or is it the number of total sign ups and is each sign up counted as unique every time someone changes LP's? I'll put in a Request For Information. Its only $5.

As of Sept Tweedle said they had 6000 customers.

Since then, the Smiths Falls, Ont.-based firm has taken advantage of its first-mover position and become the flagship company in the sector. It acquired Bedrocan Cannabis Corp. over the summer, and now has almost 6,000 customers. That is roughly 20 per cent of all the registered patients in Canada.

Boycotting and encouraging other to do so helps huge and is the MOST powerful tool done so simply.
Failing these greedy models is the right thing to do .

And they certainly are hoping or even counting on forcing a whole bunch of us in their bank accounts eh.
Well even if we loose. I WILL NEVER BUY LP SCHWAGG...BM FOR ME.
After the force that ruined my garden thinks folks will gleefully jump to their schwagg...think again. Outrage will prevail.
It's just a shame about the knee droppers that signed up anyway with LP's or even mmpr...fuckin fools didn't realize that if they didn't it may be already be okay for them too to grow at home. Idiots following idiots.
If at this point all I had was mmpr to choose from ...I'd say no thanks. But I got nerve and don't get told what to do.

still too many.
going off therealDman's post there's around 30,000 patients (bendro at 6,000 with almost 20% of patients *if you believe that ;) )
that's still what? like 60% of patients buying over-priced meds they could easily grow themselves.
:(

*lol bendro was actually a type-o.. but i think it fits and is now their new nickname from me

Looks to me about 2-3,000 new patients a month. That ain't a thing to sneeze at, but it's still dwarfed by those using dispensaries and the black market. Now if they could release retained numbers...

But are they counting people switching as a new number? As for Tweed having 6000 customers how many are really buying? Tweed said they sold 215KG last quarter (3 months) so that's 36grams per customer per 3 months. Majority of cannabis users that I know for rec or medical buy WAY more than that in 3 months.

My math isn't that great but this is what I figured with my rounded figgers..
18,000 patients into 26 LP is approx 700 Patients per LP.
If they pay 10 per gram for 30 that is approx 300 per patient.
so each LP would reap approx 210,000 per month.
Is that enough to keep the lights on and pay their bills?
I have no idea, their overhead must be quite steep.
And I am sure there must be a disparity in the percentage of patients each LP has, so the particularly bad LPs must be really hurtin financially.

I say we get those guys that ran the op at Molsons. they seem to have a talent for growing it.

Everyone that knows what they're doing gets shut out. That's why everyone has to suffer with shit weed grown by book worm horticulturalists. If I attempted to give them the real scoop on growing weed no doubt I'd get something like,"weed prefers sandy soil", "and what do you mean cut the light back to 12/12. Everyone knows the more sunlight the better".

Exactly tomeds, those figures are for who made a purchase during that month. Theres deff more than that signed up but only that amount is actually purchasing, which is pretty damn low. Im sure thousands of people just ordered once then went back to the bm or cc and put there bud in those "legal" containers. Its too bad tho that there are almost 20K people that are forced to buy from the mmpr, if it was that or you could grow your own then to each his own. Believe it or not there are some who like buying from these lps and thats their choice, its the ones who are forced too that makes it not right.
